My news - we are getting a blu-ray player on Saturday so am thinking of getting some new disks to play in it!! Whoop whoop!! But it seems the only ones available are RH S1 and Strike Back - anyone know of any others?

Phoenix - I can just about cope with dvds so am clueless about Blu-ray, except (to judge from friend's FB status updates) the things seem unreliable.

Maud, what a pain. Anything allergic seems to take forever to sort out. Has DD been in contact with anyone wearing strong perfume or similar? I only ask cos when I had DD a visitor to the next bed wafted past in a cloud of scent & in minutes I was puffed up and wheezing like no ones business.

I will hopefully pop in after 10pm if anyone's around. Am off to a friend's for coffee tonight. Must admit I did consider crying off as I was having lots of fun with John Standring earlier, but there's going to be cake too so he'll have to be patient!

Muse and Maud, how unknowingly cruel of you to mention lost shoes and Cinderella. I apparently left one of my favourite shoes in Disneyland Paris as it wasn'tr in my case when I returned. They say they haven't found it but it must bt there. I wear them all the time as they are so frumpy comfy. One of my friends remarked that I was chanelling Cinderella :)

I am sort of wary of looking at the Cats rehearsal vid, but as I have nothing agaisnt leg-warmers, I might just survive. And I only find male ponytails totally repulsive on men with grey hair and/or receding hair-lines. Though they are not my most favourite masculine coiffure.
