TheSmallPrint · 14/03/2011 21:31

Hello as well!!

TheSmallPrint · 14/03/2011 21:33

Hahahhahahhahahahaha I am watching Law and Order, the man on trial is an architect who was offering £50k assurity for bail, the barrister said 'as a sucessful architect this is nothing to him' hahahahahahahahahha!

TheSmallPrint · 14/03/2011 21:36

Sorry

how is everyone? Spiro I was reading another JS story on Wattpad today, it was no where near as good as yours, in fact I stopped reading not very far in.

Hello Phoenix! How is the neck? And the HD TV?

OP posts:
PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 14/03/2011 21:49

Neck is bad, telly is very good.

Hope you don't mind about that mention Spiro.

DumSpiroSpero · 14/03/2011 21:49

Which one was that Small, I've only found 2 others?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/03/2011 21:53

::Passes Small the lace-edged hankie (freshly laundered)::

Perhaps he was supposed to be successful as in Richard Rogers successful?

I was feeling much better and then I remembered that tomorrow morning I have to take Girl back to the doctor's.

DumSpiroSpero · 14/03/2011 21:55

No it's fine Phoenix - was v. flattered Smile

Have written a bit more today but RL has been intruding a bit. Hopefully will get next chapter up late tonight or tomorrow morning, and some more on Wednesday.

Is really frustrating as I have most of it written in my head but no time to get it on paper. I'm also finding that inspiration seems to strike about 15 minutes before I need to do the school run - aaaargh!

TheSmallPrint · 14/03/2011 21:59

I don't know if I should say Spiro, it's not very kind of me to be critical when I can't write for toffee! Yours is miles better though.

Maud, no he is an employee certainly no RR. Oh I love tele and it's imaginitive storylines. Hope tomorrow is OK at docs.

Phoenix I know all about bad necks you have my sympathy Sad.

SupermassiveLBD · 14/03/2011 22:02

Oh poor GardenGirl. and even poorer Maud. Courage, mon ami!

That vid has to be the weirdest N&S vid I have ever seen. To paraphrase the lass with the ruby slippers, cravats and teacups and twiglets, oh my!

So sorry about your neck Phoenix. What happened? Did you hurt it or did you just wake up one day with it hurting?

So architects don't get paid megabux then Small? Or maybe they do in the States and you should think about relocating?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/03/2011 22:05

I think laughing at the TV portrayal of one's profession is one of the joys of life. .

::wonders why she and twiggy haven't thought of this before::

Phoenix - Have you got one of those hot beanbag thingies? Mine is fab when I have a sore neck.

DumSpiroSpero · 14/03/2011 22:05

How is Gg, Maud? Are the drops & meds helping?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/03/2011 22:13

Thank you for asking, Spiro. She's much better - whether that's the meds or just the passage of time I can't tell - but tomorrow is likely to be another palaver as I have to get her to wee in a jug we need to provide a sample for analysis. I really do need Dr Track and his winning bedside manner.

::lies on chaise longue, puts funnel in mouth and pours Polish cordial through funnel::

DumSpiroSpero · 14/03/2011 22:22

Nightmare Maud - bad enough having to do samples on your own behalf let alone convince smaller people to do it.

Here have a Wine chaser.

SupermassiveLBD · 14/03/2011 22:24

Glad to hear GG is a bit better. What a shame she is averse to weeing unconventionally, it seems to be your fate it you are female -- jugs, sticks, little jars...

Connects industrial-sized vat of Polish Cordial to Maud's funnel and pulls up a chair for the Doctor

Sorry, I will keep doing that. Let's try again

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 14/03/2011 22:25

Very true Maud. I love that clip, it's quite similar to how my bids usually go Grin.

Phoenix I find the stick on heat things quite useful if you're out and about.

Maud I do not envy the wee challenge. DS1 came home from school today feeling very sick and spent all afternoon in bed listening to story CDs. I suspect a day off school may be in order tomorrow.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/03/2011 22:27

Precisely. Being pregnant cured me of any squeamishness about providing my own samples but this will be, ahem, challenging.

::Knocks back Spiro's Wine chaser and has a few more Wine Wine Wine for good measure::

::Once she has regained consciousness, wonders whether Girl might be open to friendly persuasion::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/03/2011 22:35

Ah, hadn't seen the most recent posts.

So which one do you design, Small? The one with the rotating knives and sound-proofed corridor or the Ronan Point collapsing building?

Massive - Actually, Girl would do anything if The Doctor in his David Tennant guise asked her to do it so I should try that angale with her. That last one of Doctor Track made me feel a little bit unwell. ::whispers:: Have you looked at the state of his gloves? ::whispers again:: The jug is an intermediate stage because last week when we went straight for the test tube, It Did Not Go Well.

::Realises this really is TMI and other Academicians are probably now repulsed::

SupermassiveLBD · 14/03/2011 22:37

Who could resist that smile, Maud? The phrase 'putty in his hands' comes to mind

Small, sorry to hear about SmallBoy Major. My lot never fall ill on a Friday afternoon for some reason. It can't all be fakery, though, can it?

I loved the Monty Python clip too. Michael Palin's travel shows are being shown big time on the international Beeb atm.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 14/03/2011 22:39

Knives definately.

May I suggest rubber gloves tomorrow?? It always made me laugh when I was 8 months pregnant with a 10lb baby how they expected me to wee accurately into a tiny pot.

TheSmallPrint · 14/03/2011 22:41

Massive, to my shame, he was complaining this morning but I suspected Mondayitis. His teacher called me over at pick up to tell me he was feeling sick and had sat out of PE and hadn't eaten his lunch. I am a Bad Mother

SupermassiveLBD · 14/03/2011 22:42

::Realises this really is TMI and other Academicians are probably now repulsed::

Being married ladies with children, little repulses us, I should think, Maud. I didn't notice Dr Track's gloves, sorry about that. They are rather disgusting. The rest of him does make up for that, though, surely?

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 14/03/2011 22:43

Urgh I see what you mean about the gloves Maud

SupermassiveLBD · 14/03/2011 22:44

Small, you can't be blamed for being suspicious. I am sure we all tried it on now and then when we were at school.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 14/03/2011 22:45

Well Monday does seem to appear regularly on the 'i don't feel well' schedule Hmm
