Am very amused at Massive's formula: married + parent = no horror to which one hasn't been exposed. (Are we all married, by the way, or are some of us Living In Sin?) Girl was 8lb 15oz, of which I was very proud as all the younger ladies in our antenatal group produced weedy sweet little babies of about 6lb whereas I - old and past-it - produced a stonking great baby.

A weird thing happened to me just now. After the pick and mix vid I clicked back to my email window but all of a sudden Guy's voice started coming out of the speakers-- or earphones, luckily today. Obviously a RH vid had started playing by itself, but it was uncanny to hear him like that, As if he doesn't haunt me enough anyway. He was just finding out that Marian is the Nightwatchman too.

Going back to the involuntary exposure to Guy, a minute or so ago, just being able to hear his voice, without seeing the visual aspect of his performance, really brings home the depths of meaning he can get into his words.

He's a bit under the weather. He's eating today and a bit more spritely but very pale and dark eyes, not a lot of energy.
