Would you like a glass of Chateau Gizzy?

Thanks Small but I don't do hot drinks - can you make it a Wine? :)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/02/2011 14:58

it's so nice to be able to put a face to a name

But not if it leaves you traumatised!

SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 15:01

Here is some sustenance for Twigs from me Wine Wine Have a double.

Here is a photo of me and a close friend. Good job I'm getting used to the hair.

I am happy to share photos to you guys only (I completely agree about putting faces to names, Small - I always like to do that!) but I tried to do it and my pictures are too big and I'm not sure how to resize. My pic is on Twitter and I have hundreds of family pics on Facebook but that's not much use here, I know. I don't know how many of you here do Facebook...?

Just looked at the photos and Small, I hate you, you are gorgeous :o As is MissSpiro - what a cutie pie!!!

SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 15:16

Small, one for you too Wine and Maud, since there's no teacup any more I presume to would prefer to indulge too. Wine Rather than be reduced to a Brew of builder's.

PassTheTwiglets · 17/02/2011 15:17

Just seen your boys, too, Small - they are beautiful! When is the 3.5 yo's birthday? Mine is 3.5 too, how odd if they shared a birthday :)

DumSpiroSpero · 17/02/2011 15:26

As is MissSpiro - what a cutie pie!!!

...and she looks just like her Mummy Hmm

speaking of cute...

PassTheTwiglets · 17/02/2011 15:34

OK, I've put a photo up but is it now too small? I can hardly see it on my screen...

DumSpiroSpero · 17/02/2011 15:46

Can't get onto your profile Twigs

SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 15:56

Me neither, Twiggy. I am loving the cute littlies I can see, though. No wonder you are such proud mums.

TheSmallPrint · 17/02/2011 16:04

It's amazing what a bit of photoshopping can do Twigs Wink. I can't get on your profile either have you banned us all? DS2s birthday is early September so almost 3.5, he is pretty much spot on half of his older brothers age.

Maud, nothing could traumatise me more than that horrid beardy photo Massive put up earlier .

DumSpiroSpero · 17/02/2011 16:07

OK - after the best part of hour trying to find a decent pic and then getting the scanner working - I'm on...

...the things I do for the Academy!

PassTheTwiglets · 17/02/2011 16:08

Hmm, I put the photo up and set it so Mumsnet mates could view and then added you all. Didn't realise I needed to do anything with a profile... I'll have another look.

PassTheTwiglets · 17/02/2011 16:10

Does it work now?

TheSmallPrint · 17/02/2011 16:15

Spiro you look great what are you cringing about?? You look absolutely nothing like I expected though, I envisaged brown hair in a bob. Now I can picture you as I read Smile. Twigs you are still anonymous though.

TheSmallPrint · 17/02/2011 16:16

You're DD looks just like you too. I see you carefully cropped off Mr Spero.

PassTheTwiglets · 17/02/2011 16:28

Here, here (or is it hear, hear - I've always wondered) Spiro you have nothing to cringe about - you are really pretty and I would kill for your curls! How funny though, I pictured you with brown hair too! Small, I always imagined you as blond but I had no idea what style and I imagine Maud with shoulder-length chestnut-brown straight hair. For some reason I can't picture you, Massive - I think because I don't know where you live! I always thought Phoenix was a redhead but I know that's wrong now :)

TheSmallPrint · 17/02/2011 16:32

I've added a more recent pic so you can see more wrinkles and wonky teeth. I don't keep photos of me really I tend to delete them before they get to the computer and certainly before they are printed.

TheSmallPrint · 17/02/2011 16:34

Oh wow I've just got your profile now Twigs and you don't look like you either! You have the brown bob! What a lovely photo, you all look gorgeous (love your dress btw), what was the occasion? Is that Dr Twigs with you?

TheSmallPrint · 17/02/2011 16:35
Grin
PassTheTwiglets · 17/02/2011 16:38

Yes, that's DrTwigs. Not a very good one of any of us (I'm actually not pregnant in that photo :o) but it's the only one I could find of us all together! It was my cousin's wedding last year. My hair is blonde now, thought it usually has a purple streak. Will put other pics up in a bit...

TheSmallPrint · 17/02/2011 16:42

You DS has a lot more hair than mine! When is his birthday?

DumSpiroSpero · 17/02/2011 16:42

Fab photo Twigs - you all look lovely.

My hair has largely gone brown as I've got older, and strangely I'd dyed it properly brown just before the original thread started so when we first 'met' I was brunette, but had the highlights put back just before Christmas.

Am hoping to be really blonde again by the summer Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 17/02/2011 16:44

I love the sound of your blonde with a purple streak Twigs. Have been considering something like that for ages but not got the balls! Is it difficult to get it back to blonde again if you do that?

PassTheTwiglets · 17/02/2011 16:56

The purple fades out quite quickly and goes to a dark pink after a few weeks - that's what stopped me doing it, it was too expensive to upkeep. The dye I have done has to grow out rather than fade out but it does go to a very faint pink in the end. My blonde was quite a dark one though, so I'm not sure what it would last like on very blond hair. I've been neglecting the kids too much today but tonight I'll put up a purple photo too,to show you. I really do love it and would definitely recommend it!
