Would you like a glass of Chateau Gizzy?

Thanks, MrsLN. Tt won't be for a few months, though.

PassTheTwiglets · 12/02/2011 20:29

Evening, Academics!

Massive, what a fantastic rescue mission that was! Loved it! "You! Horse! Now!" was a classic :)

Well done on coping with today, MrsLN. All over with now!

Small, is that your fave pic too then?! It's my absolute favourite and I have it as wallpaper on my phone :) Speaking of which, MrsLN (and anybody else with an android), how long does your battery last? Mine only lasts about 24 hours and I hardly use it :(

DH loves his Kindle - it's the travel aspect that does it for him. The fact that you can take just that instead of having to carry lots of heavy books.

Yikes about GardenGirl's questions, Maud! MissTwiglets asked me a year or 2 ago and I explained everything but she's since forgotten it. When 'a special hole' was mentioned she exclaimned "urgh! what, like in your elbow or something?!") :o During the casino episode of RH, Marian was asked to 'make friends' with Count Whatsit and it was quite clear what they meant but it was implicit. I could tell DD was confused but she said "so is Marian just supposed to be really friendly to him then?" and I chickened out and said "er.... yes."

Right, off for a date with PSM. We are going to have 8.4 tonight I think - wish me luck at being good whilst watching with DH :o

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/02/2011 20:29

Does this mean you're planning a trip to Blighty, Massive?

Interested in this thread?

Then you might like threads about these subjects:

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/02/2011 20:33

Ah, was that your favourite photo, Twiggy? Perhaps I mis-ascribed it to Small.

::old and dotty emoticon::

Yikes at mention of apertures.

::Sends GardenGirl to convent::

SupermassiveLBD · 12/02/2011 20:36

I am always planning a trip to Blighty, Maud. It doesn't often come off though, as the bishop said to the actress.

Seriously though there are things like school hols, Mr massive's work commitments etc etc to consider. For some reason they won't let me swan off on my own, maybe they have heard strange rumours about me.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/02/2011 20:41

:;snurk:: at actress and bishop.

I quite understand how real life has to be fitted into the school holidays and gaps between work commitments. ::Looks ruefully at own diary:: Just curious that you might be on these shores ....

MrsLucasNorth · 12/02/2011 20:42

"You! Horse! Now!"

I wouldn't need asking twice (especially today).

Enjoy 8.4 - I can't remember what it's about but the.number seems to jog something in my memory so it must be a good one.

I just started watching Ultimate Force in the bath but the dvd player ran out of juice. Did get to see a bit where he talks about another character who has my RL name though (and naturally it didn't occur to me to rewind and have another listen...)

SupermassiveLBD · 12/02/2011 20:45

Perhaps I should wait for..... wait for it...

The Rover's Return

Yikes at mention of apertures.
It's like fan fic all over again Shock

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/02/2011 20:47

::stitches sides together, after they have split::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/02/2011 20:49

Lest we forget. A moment from Spooks 8.4

::Has the smelling salts biked round to Twiggy::

SupermassiveLBD · 12/02/2011 20:51

I think hell will freeze over before I hear one of the Man's characters say my RL name.

Not much a chance with Ermintrude, have I?

But how lovely for you MrsLN

That reminds me, I wonder how the RL Guy Gisborne is getting on.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/02/2011 20:53

I doubt that he will ever utter my name, either, unless he joins a long-running soap which is not (I hope) the trajectory his career is on.

SupermassiveLBD · 12/02/2011 20:55

Twigs, Twigs, you better abandon your plans to watch 8.4 with your DH, you are never going to keep your features in the requiaite configuration of polite indifference.

MrsLucasNorth · 12/02/2011 20:57

But, Maud...Mr A 5 nights a week direct to your tellybox!

(only kidding, obviously)

SupermassiveLBD · 12/02/2011 20:57
Grin
MrsLucasNorth · 12/02/2011 20:59

Am pondering what these names must be now, although since I don't watch any soaps, or much tv at all, am probably onto a loser there.

SupermassiveLBD · 12/02/2011 21:00

If he joins a soap it'd be like doing a reverse Ron wotsit, late Sean Slater, now dwarf.

Despite the fact that it'd be nice to see him, I wouldn't wish that on him.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/02/2011 21:00

Oh Lordy, yes. I was forgetting that Twiggy will be watching with her DH. Quick! To action! Do we know where she lives?

::Orchestrates disturbance in the street outside the TwigHouse, forcing Twiggy and Doctor Twiggy to come outside to see what the racket is. Meanwhile, the squirrel has been prised off Monet's chin and is gnawing through the electricity cable, ensuring a power failure for the whole TwigStreet::

Phew. That was close.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/02/2011 21:02

We must ensure that Twiggy does not see this.

SupermassiveLBD · 12/02/2011 21:05

The next pic along is even worse Shock so I haven't put in a link

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/02/2011 21:07

Yes. I remember how over-excited some people got at the next few pics!

::Oh for heaven's sake they're acting, not doing it for real emoticon::

SupermassiveLBD · 12/02/2011 21:07

I do hope Tufty does come up trumps in the way you describe, Maud. Or we may never see Twiggy again

SupermassiveLBD · 12/02/2011 21:08

We know they're not doing it for real, Maud, but it makes your imagination run riot.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/02/2011 21:17

Me too. Do you think she'd explode? Or melt? Or possibly (in a defying the laws of physics kind of way) both at the same time?

::Rubs chin, nervously::

Mind you, The Gardener and I must have watched it together and I'm still here to tell the tale. But then, I never really got Lucas in the way that ::cough:: some other ladies appear to.

MrsLucasNorth · 12/02/2011 21:21

Are you dissing my virtual DH Maud? Grin
