Do come in. It's never too late to enrol. We have an extensive programme of rigorous academic study and a never-ending supply of Chateau Gizzy and ratafia biscuits.

Aha I get it now, thanks so much Phoenix! I did register with DreamerFiction and I gave them your name but I think they still don't trust me :) No matter, I'll sort it out. Your help is much appreciated.

:) at "playing our song", Theresa.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 07/02/2011 18:47

Hmm. I do see what you mean. Your own private Valhalla, perhaps?

I've noticed with my kids that they are quite wary the first time they watch something new, and may actively resist watching it, but once they have, and found out that it ends happily (as kids stuff usually does) then they will watch it repeatedly, and even if they hide under the table, they do so in the knowledge that everything will be alright.

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 07/02/2011 19:17

Twigs, I can email DF if you PM me your login name there. It will be fine.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/02/2011 21:17

This Hobbit news is odd, isn't it? What do you all make of it?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/02/2011 21:31

Everyone has a Fix you, it seems.

is the Star Wars one. May the Force be with you!
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 07/02/2011 21:41

Quelle surprise! . (Vraiment, il y en a trois Fix Yous de Twilight).

Right. Will be off comms for a while as I watch Ros kick interplanetary ass.

I am also watching Outcasts with Daniel Mays.

I know that there were previously reports of The Hobbit starting filming in Feb. So slipping over a month seems a lot.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 07/02/2011 22:03

I expect they're still digging the trench, Phoenix, for the taller cast members to stand in!

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 07/02/2011 22:10

The press release talked about actor availability - I wonder if Richard might be filming Strike Back in South Africa now...??

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/02/2011 22:21

I suppose the previous reported start date was only ''reports'' and this was a ''proud announcement''

Am loving the idea of the trench. If they want volunteers to dig it, I'm in.

So that was Twilight Fixez-vous, Techno. Golly, it made me feel positively antediluvian, looking at Bella and Edward.

I am feeling pretty miffed that so few of the reports in the press about CA mention the Man. I feel like boycotting their websites

I watched Sex and the City pretty religiously for a while (till it finished) and I even went on a girl's night out to see the first movie, but I have no interest in the second movie for some reason (wonder why?????!!! perhaps I have different interests now)

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/02/2011 22:28

Hint to Vid makers. Theresa could do with her own Fix You. There is a whole lot about her that needs fixing, after all.

SATC Fix You??? WTF? I suppose that's an advert for a while-you-wait heel bar, specialising in Manolo repair...

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 07/02/2011 22:31

I think we have to accept, Theresa, that for the makers of CA, and for most of its eventual viewers - because like most other films this will be marketed at the prime demographic of American teenagers, I guess - Mr Armitage is never going to be the main story. Or much of the story at all. No doubt for them, he will be Token Brit Cast As The Baddy (think Mr Rickman in Die Hard and countless other similar castings). Of course, for we thespians and connoisseurs of the arts it is different.

I was going to say that I am old enough to be Edward's mother, but of course Edward is 97 or so, so maybe not.

Exactly, Phoenix, I gave up my shopaholic habit for the same reason Who cares about shoes, clothes and Mr Big any more?

Seems there is a universal fix-you-mania going on and we have only just realised it!

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 07/02/2011 22:37

I am not commending these vids at all, but I am increasingly curious to discover if there is any film/series which doesn't have its own Fix You vid.

Read a few chapters of Truce (blimey, how many chapters are there?) and all I can say is - you were right, MrsLN :o

ROFL at "and with your boots still on, Soldier" :o

Night all....

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/02/2011 22:42

There's a Dr Who one. Trinny and Susannah? Aggie and whoever it was? Top Gear?

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 07/02/2011 22:43

Ok I admit I did watch Lost to the bitter end, in spite of The Man (and the end was a little on the disappointing side, frankly, after all that build up). Still, Sawyer Grin I'm afraid Jack never did it for me...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/02/2011 22:44

Night Twigs. Don't forget to take yours off before you hop into the sack, will you? Wink
