I would never have even guessed this stuff was out there if it wasn't for this thread. Just started reading an "alternative season 9 spooks ending" one. Will keep going with it.

However some of them are edited versions posted at lower ratings than are available elsewhere. That said, if you login to Wattpad and become of fan of the author then there are higher rated fanfics sometimes available e.g. Truce is on there by fedoralady, but you won't find it in a straightforward search.

I have read most of these fics originally on C19 which is THE place for North and South fanfic (up to PG-13, but the authors will PM you higher rated versions). There are a ton of North and South fanfics on C19, also loads of Guy ones too.

There is some talk of Wattpad using the RA fanfic community to pilot/test a new user group feature they are developing.

I wonder how far back fan fic as a whole started, it seems a common response when you can't get enough of your favouriteshow/book/movie whatever.

But were you instead asking if we'd like you to recommend a story? If so, I wasn't looking for anything in particular as I'm not sure when I will get around to looking anyway. Techno, there are all sorts of North and South fanfics out there, some are very tame (in THAT sense) and others you might call X-rated, and there is everything in between. Also depends on what you regard as X-rated, I suppose.

Evening, Techno! Now I am even more jealous as I don't think I knew (or I had forgotten) that The Kevster had introduced That Show. I utterly heart him and have done a bit of Spacey Stalkage in my time. That Thomas Newman music is wonderful, isnt it? I notice it in a lot of things... I wouldn't mind his royalty payments!

Techno, not all fanfic is porntastic, I know for sure. And N&S doesn't naturally lend itself to the hot and heavy, I shouldn't think.

I was pleased when I found that vid, I didn't think we'd seen it before and they are getting so hard to track down.
