Something of a causus belly there, Techno.
All Greek to me, mind you.

Wot a wuvly tum though. He always looks as though His trousers are too small for him in the barbecue one. Most uncomfortable.

here. Maybe worth a quick peek..

::Belly laugh::

::Wibble::

MrsLucasNorth · 25/01/2011 21:33

I have to confess to a severe attack of SMFV - have just ordered box set of Ultimate Force!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/01/2011 21:37

Blame your uncle, MrsLN. Maybe he'll pay for it!

Techno, have you managed to get your telly - and more importantly your DVD player set up?
And what of Venetia Did you finish it?

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 25/01/2011 21:42

Urgent Sit Rep from the Techno Ops Centre.

All audio-visual equipment now connected and working.

One disc of Venetia listened to with much wibbling interest. Rest being saved for the next time I'm alone in the house.

Is the LadyDamarel on the Regency thread an Academician under a nom de plume, by the way? The repeated mentions of The Man suggest that either she is or she should be!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/01/2011 21:50

I thought Lady D sounded like a person of Good Taste indeed. No idea if she's one of us or not --she's not me, at least! They certainly have a point about the costumes, don't they? I must get to the DVD shop again and raid their Regency stock.

MrsLN, saw you on their book thread waving the flag!

So glad you are hot to trot again, Techno, with your A/V set-up. Now you will be able to watch The Impressionists

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 25/01/2011 21:54

Oh yes. I am planning a tryst with Claude for early next week.

MrsLucasNorth · 25/01/2011 21:57

You'll have to let us know if he's wibble-worthy enough in the Impressionists to overlook the squirrel! If so that will be next purchase methinks.

As for 'waving the flag' - it had to be done. Imagine all those Heyer fans going without 'The Voice'.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/01/2011 22:00

Will he be bringing his pet squirrel too?
But I do but jest, he is tres charmant in whatever guise.

I have most of RH to watch and Mr Theresa is working from home these days, So the house is chocka at all hours. Wah! I am suffering from severe Guy-deprivation.

Though I have been enjoying my own copy of Venetia on the sly.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/01/2011 22:02

Snap, MrsLN, we both thought of Tufty!

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 25/01/2011 22:13

MrTheresa works from home? How delightful, in terms of together time, but how dreadful in terms of lack of time for serious academic research.

The squirrel is optional

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/01/2011 22:24

He does at the moment, Techno. I have hopes things will change in a few weeks. Vile of me I know but my brains are in danger of exploding out of my ears...

How spirituel dear Claude looks in that photo. Such soul in those eyes as he dreams up pretty paintings of waterlilies. Lots of them.

MrsLucasNorth · 25/01/2011 22:32

Off to bed now - am shattered! My small person keeps waking well before 6am. She readability to herself in bed but will insist on calling out to ask if it's ok first!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/01/2011 22:34

Goodnight MrsLN, wasn't it nice about your uncle? Hope UF arrives for you soon.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 25/01/2011 22:39

Think I'll head off to bed too. Have hundreds of pages to read before the weekend.

Sweet dreams, all.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/01/2011 22:42

Night all, it is even later for me, so I shall head off too.
Sweet squirrel-free dreams.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 25/01/2011 22:45

::Looks back::

::Often wonders what time Theresa goes to bed in Limpopo Mean Time::

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 25/01/2011 23:33

Night all - just checking in. And out...

TheSmallPrint · 26/01/2011 09:36

Morning! Well good news about The Man doing a bit of voice work next week, I will look forward to that and DH will watch because he likes animal programmes.

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 26/01/2011 10:08

A-N-I-M-A-L

Sorry couldn't help myself

Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/01/2011 10:32

Sorry about the staggering. As Techno guessed, it was stupid o'clock for me when I left.

The cackling is due to Amazon who are positively harassing me with the things they thought I might like . And they are really piling on the pressure now, six suggestions, all Armitagiana and the one in the title line is BtS. I mean, look what they are waving at me now in the rush to get me to spend money with them.
Is it just me they do this to, or are all faculty members subjected to the same treatment?

Re the latest voice-over, is he going to dub in Elsa's dialogue too? Roarrrr!

PassTheTwiglets · 26/01/2011 12:14

Theresa, amazon don't send me emails about things I might like to buy but when I log in, at the bottom of the page there is a line of "here are items you might like to consider".

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorth · 26/01/2011 12:38

Amazon are going to have to give up on me pretty soon - I think I've bought nearly all of RA's 'back catalogue'! Grin

And yes, Theresa, my uncle is a star!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/01/2011 12:48

I still have a way to go, MrsLN. But I'm working on it!

I have had emails before suggesting mixed Armitage-related stuff and other things. But this last one must have been a record. And BtS in the subject line was really below the belt...
