Re Alec - unless they're going to introduce someone else, I can't see another option for head of Section D. He's no MrA but I have seen him in other things - he's a good actor and quite sexy once he's scrubbed up. Certainly more totty potential than Dimitri anyway, who's a nice bloke but definitely more of a boy than a man imo.
I can't stand Coldplay, but 'Fix You' always gets to me. I saw a documentary a few years about about a singing group in America made up of elderly people that sang pop songs. Two of the old guys were rehearsing to sing it as a duet and one died before the performance, but the other one (who was not in great health himself) got up on stage on his own and sang it as a tribute to his mate

It's the 'tears streaming down your face, when you lose something you cannot replace' bit that never fails to set me off.
As for Buble - he's great but Sinatra cannot be compared to anybody imo.
