Just in case no one opens a better one

Hee hee at all the research on your phones! Can you donwload them from your phone? As far as I can see I can't do it on my Android, though I will have a Google at some point to check. It seems like I have to put them on my memory card first (2GB, not sure how much that will hold though) but can't see how to do it directly. There is no 'right click, save as' option on a touchpad!

MrsLN, I did 7.5 this afternoon whilst I got the kids to play elsewhere :) We are just about to start 7.1 together now. I am having to behave terribly well :)

Theresaholeinyourmind · 12/01/2011 20:59

Lots of lovely tech info here, then. sorry I was away, there is this thing called RL which is really a pain...

RH1 & 2 eh, and there was me thinking I was lucky with just one of them

Phoenix, the IPhone screen lighting up for night ops won't work for me, I don't want to have to open my eyes Grin

Techno, how are you feeling? Is your poor hand still very sore?

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 12/01/2011 21:01

Grin at Twiggy woth her good face on, watching Spooks and carefully not thudding or fanning herself

OP posts:
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 12/01/2011 21:04

What cheer, mistress Theresa!

My hand is sore, although the doctor's ministrations have made me feel ::cough:: a great deal better. He has such a way with the elastic bandage. The buggeration factor is that the cut is where the little finger joins the hand, so quite difficult to keep still and it starts to bleed again if knocked. Please tell me I don't need to see a real and less distractingly handsome doctor.

Shall we put something on the video jukebox?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 12/01/2011 21:08

Here's an , Techno!

What a painful place for a cut, ouch!

OP posts:
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 12/01/2011 21:13

Oh, Theresa, you do know how to rub it in (and I don't mean the germolene).

::fans self with large box of plasters::

I did love Robert Palmer. I wanted to be one of the girls with scarlet lipstick and a guitar.

::wannabe rock chick emoticon::

Let me find something for you ...

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 12/01/2011 21:22

Right. Disclaimer. This does not have vast amounts of Guy in it. But it does have .

Theresaholeinyourmind · 12/01/2011 21:34

Thanks you , Techno, I enjoyed that. As you say, the Guy on Horseback moment was exquisite, highly pre-Raphaelite, and I loved the soundtrack -- the fighting was fun too. So all in all a very pleasant change. And all presented by a brave but wounded VJ.

Did you see earlier?

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorth · 12/01/2011 21:40

Am just about to watch last ep of season 7. A package arrived for me too today (at the safe house will have to.go on covert ops at the wknd!)

Theresaholeinyourmind · 12/01/2011 21:43

So it looks like MI 5 won't be short of new female recruitss at this rate, MrsLN.

Interviewer: What makes you think you might be suitable for a career with us, MrsLN?MrsLN: Weeel, in order to watch Spooks...

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 12/01/2011 21:44

I did set that out better than MN have done for me there. Thanks a bundle,MN!

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 12/01/2011 21:51

What did you get, MrsLN?

It was easy to keep cool with 7.1 Lucas - he was a bit weak and pathetic and needed a good shave :) Warn me when the Russian lapdancer episode is, as I will have to be prepared for that one!

But oh, Adam... pretty Adam... :( It is getting a bit obvious now though - in with the new totty, out with the old...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 12/01/2011 21:59

Ah,Lucas in S7.1. Definitely a hot soup and blankets situation. Beware, though, Twigs, he soon begins to look rather cuddle-worthy.

I wonder who the new totty will be in S10. Not that I shall be watching

OP posts:
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 12/01/2011 22:03

I hoped you'd enjoy that sight of Ritchie, Theresa. I did see the other vid and, as it contains some Heavenly Visions, am happy to overlook its overdose on tricksy editing effects.

I have just found this. Perhaps not the best of the cravatfests, .

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 12/01/2011 22:06

I think the new Spooks S10 totty (as such) was already introduced - Alec White was it? (character name)??

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 12/01/2011 22:08

I'm following him on Twitter, I know that... Actually must go and check out the big T - I seem to be getting a lot of mentions...

PassTheTwiglets · 12/01/2011 22:08

I wonder if they are banking on Dimitri... he's pretty enough but doesn't work for me.

Alec white as Spy Candy, Phoenix? One question - are you completely insane? Wink

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 12/01/2011 22:11

There were several favourable mentions of Alec White when Spooks was being discussed elsewhere on MN a while back. For those who like the lived-in look I guess he might be appealing (and he's got all that messed-up complexity which Lucas had). Dmitri is lovely but surely too young to fill that Lucas-shaped void?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 12/01/2011 22:14

Richie is King, Techno. Thst's why I made him get lucky in my last Epic!

That vid maked me want to go out and buy up all the Period dramas I can get my hands on, and watch and watch and eat chocolates and stwrberries for ever. And what a wibble-wothy moment when dear Johnny hoves into view. He is so very oooh, that man.

Is Dimitri younger than Lucas then? I'd have puit them at about the same age but then I've alwasy been rubbish at estimating ages. Speaking of qwhich, DD asked how old I was today and when I said 42 she said "wow, that's ancient! That's as old as Granny and Grandpa!!" :o Anyway, Dimitri is too junior to be a Tom, Adam or Lucas so he can't fill the role in that way.... but I don't get Alec White at all. Ewwwwwww. When does Spooks usually start? (had never seen it before this year). Is it an autumn job?

PassTheTwiglets · 12/01/2011 22:20

THeresa: "That vid maked me want to go out and buy up all the Period dramas I can get my hands on"

I also got Pride & Prejudice and Downton Abbey for my birthday (and I still have my family's presents to come at the weekend :o)

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 12/01/2011 22:24

I am beginning to feel an urge to assemble a collection of all the Messrs Darcy, for comparative swooning research, although I think I know who will win the contest.

Mr Thornton is, indeed, the ne plus ultra of oooohh, but .

::Looking forward to our next party - don't we have another Academy birthday next week?::

Theresaholeinyourmind · 12/01/2011 22:24

here is , with a familiar favourite of a song. I am sure we all wish we could do what it says...

OP posts:
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 12/01/2011 22:27

Well, using wikipedia my extensive showbiz contacts, I have established that Dmitri is about 10 years younger than Lucas (or, rather, the respective actors). Dmitri makes me feel very very old.
