Just in case no one opens a better one

Yay! Our 10th new home since 27th September opens its doors (and named after my virtual DH Grin) well done Theresa!

Now where's Flowers with that Michelangelo?

StripeyMoon · 09/01/2011 18:30

Ha ha I thought Mrs LN had started this! I think we need a medical research wing added to the university, I'll start designing now....

Theresaholeinyourmind · 09/01/2011 18:32

That was specially for you,MrsLN. And any others interested in this field of study.
Teri wanted to call it Gisborne's Gaff but I wouldn't let her.

MrsLucasNorth · 09/01/2011 18:35

And until Flowers turns up with the removal van, let's feast our eyes on this

StripeyMoon · 09/01/2011 18:37

Or Porters Place?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 09/01/2011 18:40

Oh, sweetie! Isn't that a nice one! Thanks MrsLN it's very like Twiggy's favourite.

OP posts:
StripeyMoon · 09/01/2011 18:46

Mrs LN that's a beautiful shot, can you hang it over there ---> where we can all see it please?

MrsLucasNorth · 09/01/2011 18:53

I did have a bit of a wibble when I spotted it. Was obviously taken at the same time as Twiggys fave.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 09/01/2011 19:02

I would be hard put to choose a fave, me, TBH.

::Puzzled that it's always her job to unload the Academy Michelangelo. Then again, the job does have its compensations::

::Wipes steam from lorgnette::

Here he is. Our very own Renaissance Man.

Stripey - Please don't run away. Try a new name. I name-change regularly and am planning to do again very soon. Possibly even in the next 10 minutes.

Secret FB groups can be fun, but I'm on FB under my real name and don't know how I feel about surrendering the anonymity we have here. Besides, if the conversation isn't fit for public consumption I'm not sure I want to get too deeply involved.

::Has seen some hair-raising stuff on blogs and forums::

Theresaholeinyourmind · 09/01/2011 19:18

Thanks Flowers, it seems really like home, now.

Talking of hair-raising, the talk gets pretty fruity on several other MN sections. In comparison, we are plain vanilla I am sure.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofflowers · 09/01/2011 19:23

Well, the fruitiest threads I've ever been on have been in Gardening, discussing my raspberry canes.

::demure::

Theresaholeinyourmind · 09/01/2011 19:30

I do like your new punctuation style, Flowers, very elegant.

Don't get Teri started on fruit. My fault for mentioning it in the first place I suppose.

OP posts:
StripeyMoon · 09/01/2011 19:35

Have we set up the fruitbowl yet ?

asmallbunchofflowers · 09/01/2011 19:39

I learnt it from another poster on the thread that I call my MN home. It's Internet Standard, doncha know, but more to the point it isn't immune from spellcheck like anything inside >s. So for an erratic typist like me it's a no-brainer.

When does the cabaret start?

::sings: willkommen, bienvenue, welcome]]

Theresaholeinyourmind · 09/01/2011 19:40

Whenever we're ready, but are the other ladies here?

OP posts:
StripeyMoon · 09/01/2011 19:42

To be honest it's not hard to find us again if you get lost- were always at the top of sleb twaddle! Grin

Theresaholeinyourmind · 09/01/2011 19:46

Stripes, we were putting on a Moulin Rouge evening, several of us had chosen names, appearances and costumes for the show --if you want a quick walk-on role, shout and I'll try to speed- write you one.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofflowers · 09/01/2011 19:47

We've been overtaken tonight by a thread about the Beckhams.

::wonders how she ever ended up in sleb twaddle::

SpottyPeaches · 09/01/2011 19:49

Who is this stripes you talk of? I wouldn't mind a role though Theresa! Grin

asmallbunchofflowers · 09/01/2011 19:50

::very worried about the implications of spotty peaches::

SpottyPeaches · 09/01/2011 19:53

Grin Grin I am aware of the implications! It was a variation on my name too though. Won't keep it though don't really want to be called Spots!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 09/01/2011 19:53

Silly story, Cabaret at the Moulin. Certain folk from Nottingham are out on the town. We have three dancers doing Lady Marmelade, and various other strumpets
Wanna be a buxom waitress wench or some other act? and what do you want to look like?

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 09/01/2011 19:54

''ladies'' should have come in place of the crossed out word, of course

OP posts:
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 09/01/2011 19:56
It's by Dior, you know.
