Especially when he beams himself in wearing a dinner jacket, forsooth. A sharp-dressed man is always worth a . After all, we've spent the last three months wibbling over men who are variously dead, fictional, traitorous, perfidious or over 190s year old.

I fear the Academy and my studies herein have afforded my family almost as much amusement as they have me. It has been a marvellous party, hasn't it?

MrsLucasNorthPole · 01/01/2011 00:23

Good luck with that Spooky, perhaps she needs s nice audiobook to soothe her to sleep!

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 01/01/2011 00:28

Offspring is still bopping to Jools and his Hootenanny. Heaven help us tomorrow.

It has been a pleasure making the acquaintance of all you ladies here. It really has been an education . May 2011 bring you all you desire, the law against kidnapping notwithstanding.

Oh, Missy but those men are real men, are they not? All so gorgeously different and fascinatingly beautiful and... well too much chateau Gizzy plays havoc with my vocab.

If you come to think of it we have almost made Santa's machine a reality tonight. All it needs is an industrial sized pack of heavy duty disbelief suspenders

Is (to pluck one example entirely at random) Mr Thornton a real man? Well, on one level quite clearly yes >

MrsLucasNorthPole · 01/01/2011 00:37

I have loved this evening. Hope common sense doesn't overtake us too soon in the new year - I'd really miss the Academy and its members!

ROFL Grin

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 01/01/2011 00:40

Didn't we all check in our common sense at the door? After all, the whole premise of the Academy is quite insane esoteric.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 01/01/2011 00:45

Common sense is striclty prohibited by Academy Regulations, MrsLNP. didn't you tick the little box when you signed on? Otherwise you would never have been allowed in.

How, indeed, can we say that we ourselves are real? So what's the difference, between them and us? Altough we are of course women, or at least I assume we are, and they aren't. Or at least I assume they are not.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 01/01/2011 00:50

Oh Lordy. We're going back to The Matrix. We are all just electrons whizzing around Keanu Reeves' leather overcoat. Or summat.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 01/01/2011 00:57

Nothing wrong with leather overcoats if you get the right cut

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorthPole · 01/01/2011 00:58

Perhaps we could all be whizzing round Gizzys leathers instead, Missy? Grin

Right, really must go to bed now. Night, night folks.

MrsLucasNorthPole · 01/01/2011 00:59

Great mind Holly!

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 01/01/2011 01:00

Ha! I knew the mention of leather overcoats would press your buttons, I mean, get a response.

Are we ready for a little late night thoracic nudity?

Theresahollyinyourmind · 01/01/2011 01:00

Sound good to me, MrsLNP! Nighty night and sleep well!

Theresahollyinyourmind · 01/01/2011 01:02

He looks very pensive there, Missy. Crinkles to the fore. So adorable.

Happy New Year !!!!!

MrsLucasNorthPole · 01/01/2011 01:05

Missy, I see your thoracic nudity and raise you a pair of peaches

...so much for canasta...!

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 01/01/2011 01:09

Pensive and a little sad. But that's alright because we know he finds everlasting joy with me.

I must get mesself to bed now so will leave you with possibly the most wibblesome image yet of dear dear Johnny (although there are many contenders).

Sweet Nottamun dreams on the banks of the great grey-green greasy Limpopo.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 01/01/2011 01:12

Thanks Missy that is indeed wibble-tastic, and sweet Milton dreams to you.

Of course it is. And now for all you very naughty ladies, in the words of dear dear Jools, Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.

Byeee!

MrsLucasNorthPole · 01/01/2011 08:18

As much as I love our Mr A, I have to admit to being rather bewildered that someone has had the patience, let alone found the time to break all his works down into screen shots.

PassTheTwiglets · 01/01/2011 08:36

Morning all, am I first up? I had to disappear fairly abruptly last night as DS woke up and started screaming 'cos of the fireworks (I seem unable to raise children without a firework phobia). How are the Academy Juniors who stayed up? DD seems ok so far but we shall see how the day progresses.

Well I missed a few photographic treats last night then - Missy, your last photo did make me smile, along with its caption. I also LOL'd at "thoracic nudity" and "the law against kidnapping notwithstanding" :) And the wibblesome kiss was just...

Now how's this for a New Year treat then? I had my first RA dream, woohoo!! Nothing exciting, sadly :o You guys were in it too; we had all gone to see him in a play and we met him backstage and asked to have a photo taken with him. He was as dull as ditchwater though, didn't say a word to us and was literally about 3 feet tall (so that will save on the CGI budget for The Hobbit). I think my subconscious is trying to convince me I'm not missing much :o
