Tedious song, Theresa, but, oh, what visuals. The Face That Launched A Thousand Swoons.

Yes, I really am off to bed and The Crimson Petal and The White. Heard an excellent radio prog today about Byron, perhaps I should dust off that script soon?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 06/01/2011 23:23

Oh dear, great vid but so sad. Such a sad end for a wonderful character. But I suppose such wonderful acting that gets me so involved in it all. Poor Lucas.

I thought the song fitted, to be honest, it was quite angsty and jagged, IYSWIM.
Or are we talking about the earlier happier Lucas one? I thought that song was okay too but my tastes in music are less sophisticated than yours.

Oh yes come back Bad Boy Byron. Meanwhile my next oeuvre is ready, a little thing called Gizzy does Paris so many literary treats ahead for the Academy.

Good night again!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 06/01/2011 23:31

Mack the knife is brilliant in the old sense of the word, isn't it, Oyster, Whoever made that has a wonderful sense of humour.

MrsLucasNorth · 06/01/2011 23:31

Just back from supermarket (have stocked up on Polish Cordial). Gizzy does Paris sounds fab...I can't wait!

asmallbunchofflowers · 06/01/2011 23:33

Yes, the song fits the music well but it isn't something I'd choose to listen to in another context, IYSWIMtoo. I am quite sure that my taste isn't more sophisticated than yours but I am old enough to remember the original version of Running Up The Hill . Remember, it was me wot linked to the N&S vid with the Kylie soundtrack.

Really going to bed now, but am agog to hear of Gizzy in gay Paree.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 06/01/2011 23:36

Inspired by a chance encounter of DVDs coming out of the Amazon warehous, you see. It's hugely silly, but then what else can you expect from yours truly?

Dormez bien, petite Fleur.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 06/01/2011 23:42

If everyone else is off to sleep , too, good night to them, of course.

PrairieOyster · 06/01/2011 23:50

Night night

StripeyMoon · 07/01/2011 09:31

Oyster, I loved that new vid. I have to say the quality of some of these fan vids is amazing. Watching these clips is doing me no good, I went a bit cold turkey over Christmas Grin with the vids and thought I may be cured but how easy is it to be drawn back into that beautiful face? Scary.

MrsLucasNorth · 07/01/2011 12:13

My last sleb crush was Hugh Jackman about 2 years ago when Australia came out.

I saw him in Kate & Leopold last night...not a flicker! Grin

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/01/2011 12:58

Wot happened, MrsLN? Grin Could it be you are flickering at the sight of Another?

Stripey, why try to fight it? It's Fate, that's what it is. And speaking personally, the best fun I've had in years. Btw, I hope you had a better night.

MrsLucasNorth · 07/01/2011 13:40

I think that may have something to do with it Grin!

Also much prefer HJ a bit rough & ready - he doesn't do it for me when he's spruced up.

StripeyMoon · 07/01/2011 13:45

Mrs LN I am a HJ fan, I just bought Wolverine on DVD. I only went to see Australia becasue he was in it. Grin Agree he is much better looking a bit rough and ready then spruced up. He's quite nice <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=2.bp.blogspot.com/_UP3yBWuBAXU/SLt68yPVGXI/AAAAAAAAB5E/0sialFK6GXo/s400/Hugh%2BJackman4.jpg&imgrefurl=natashaoakley.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html&usg=__40ayXM41BMYgsHmv-xtn98DKt-o=&h=400&w=311&sz=21&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=g2k_Tk06d_SH6M:&tbnh=155&tbnw=121&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dhugh%2Bjackman%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26rlz%3D1R2ACAW_enGB392%26biw%3D1899%26bih%3D824%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=128&vpy=434&dur=1654&hovh=255&hovw=198&tx=86&ty=125&ei=fRgnTY_DD8e7hAeXxIi4Dg&oei=fRgnTY_DD8e7hAeXxIi4Dg&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=47&ved=1t:429,r:24,s:0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here though and <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=4.bp.blogspot.com/_7fVqM-f-Wd0/SmWyYXkfhVI/AAAAAAAAA0k/bfhZwQNIk_4/s400/hugh_jackman.jpg&imgrefurl=merciblahblah.blogspot.com/2009/07/pretty-please.html&usg=__YPVRWBGeqpgfXJjkYiYijpsUUKM=&h=400&w=300&sz=36&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=71gjPkZYxZBOrM:&tbnh=148&tbnw=103&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dhugh%2Bjackman%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26rlz%3D1R2ACAW_enGB392%26biw%3D1899%26bih%3D824%26tbs%3Disch:10%2C306&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=122&vpy=289&dur=2231&hovh=259&hovw=194&tx=111&ty=138&ei=fRgnTY_DD8e7hAeXxIi4Dg&oei=fRgnTY_DD8e7hAeXxIi4Dg&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=47&ved=1t:429,r:35,s:0&biw=1899&bih=824" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/01/2011 14:01

I was wittering on to a friend about the Wonders of Armitage, and she said he reminded her of HJ. Something to do with the nose and the jeans she said. I couldn't tell from your pics, Stripes, they were a bit small. The pics, I mean

Trouble about a woman's attitude to men, I don't think your taste develops properly till you get a few years on you. I used to go for the baby-faced types, for instance -- all wide eyed, open and honest looking. Now I like a few hidden depths. And a touch of danger Wink

MrsLucasNorth · 07/01/2011 14:22

I think there may be a a bit of a theme occurring here...

StripeyMoon · 07/01/2011 14:24

who's that Confused

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/01/2011 14:32

Indeed, MrsLN, who was it?

How uncanny. Gizzy wields a mean bow and arrow, too, at times, along with his big sword.

What a shock, Stripey, I had no idea. I think a life of debauchery happened, that's what. Too many pizzas and stubbies and not enough time in the gym.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/01/2011 14:36

Rupert is too blond/bland for me, sorry, and the name is a bit of a turn-off, I keep seeing a little bear in a red jumper with a yellow checked scarf round his furry neck.

StripeyMoon · 07/01/2011 14:45

Just found on you tube which is quite fun.

No need to apologise Theresa, all the more for me Wink.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 07/01/2011 14:56

Hmm, HJ is rather nice. I would put him at about a nine, to Mr Armitage's eleven. LOL.
Stripes, I think your Rupert is very very good looking and I can appreciate blondies aesthetically. So don't think I am dissing your taste.
