Was that really ten years ago, Stripey? Doesn't time fly!

PrairieOyster · 03/01/2011 14:30

TDHCMO = Tall Dark Handsome Cotton Mill Owner

So now you know.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 14:47

So what would Guy be? CDHSEH?
Tall Dark and Handsome Sheriff's Evil Henchman?

As Milton said, evil be thou my good! Grin

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 15:44

Oh Oyster, that you! What a klutz I am, I did too much housework, that must be what it is. I dunno,

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 15:48

Meanwhile I see roof-plunges have become the new BBC series must-have, as The Archers follows on from the Spooks story line...

MrsLucasNorth · 03/01/2011 16:01

Clearly there is foul play afoot. I bet Mrs Pargeter pushed Nigel to his death, leaving the way clear for her to have a wild, passionate affair with the tall, dark, blue-eyed mystery man that has recently arrived in the village from London Hmm Grin

MrsLucasNorth · 03/01/2011 16:06

How about a TDHSVT!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 17:04

Mrs Pargeter is a woman with taste, Nigel is not an attractive name. (apols in advance to anyone whose DH bears that name. I am sure it can be lovely in the right person)I am even having a bit of a wibble at the thought of the TDBEMM from London, how pathetic can you get?

Now. Important Matters. I have decided to order a RH box set from Amazon. Not S2 at the moment because I've seen it. So S1 or S3? It's for serious research purposes you understand.

What do you think? Early Evil Days, or the Road to Redemption? I can't make my mind up.

Your wise words, please.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 17:23

Luke Roberts looks like Mr Armitage??? What's that about? They are both tall dark and handsome but I can't see any other resemblence.

I do like the Joseph Byrne, the handsome surgeon, he's a poppet. Or at least he is as far as our version of the Beeb has got up to. He could always have morphed into an evil organ trafficer by now.

MrsLucasNorth · 03/01/2011 18:41

Who is Luke Roberts? Confused

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 18:50

He's the guy that plays one of the surgeons from Holby City, Mr Byrne. Someone on one of the blogs thought he reminded her of RA, but they are just so different. At least that's what I think. Was just wondering if anyone else had seen a resemblance.

StripeyMoon · 03/01/2011 20:18

She is blind. Tell her from me. Grin

PrairieOyster · 03/01/2011 20:21

Holby City I don't watch so no idea.

PrairieOyster · 03/01/2011 20:26

I don't read that blog at all. I have no interest in Game of Thrones. I follow her on Twitter though.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 20:56

Sometimes I get desperate for something to watch, Oyster! The telly here is awful.

PrairieOyster · 03/01/2011 21:58

That bad, Teri - sounds like you need to invest in a copy of Ultimate Force series 2...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 22:03

Worse than you can imagine, Oyster. Old Weakest Link series, anyone? Or I think Hyacinth Bucket is on in a bit --for the umpteenth time.

So what are the plus points of UF, then?

PrairieOyster · 03/01/2011 22:10

Oh I haven't seen it (UF) except for the first episode when he appears (2.2) but I just know that I'll have reached a low point in waiting for The Hobbit when I watch that one. The OH may roll his eyes over my dedicated Robin Hood watching, but if it comes to UF, he will think I am truly bonkers. I mean, it has Ross Kemp...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 22:14

Do I need RH S1 or S3, then? I am inclining to give prority to S1 as Guy isn't in a couple of episodes in S3 ,or so I believe.
Can't order them both at once, or customs might pounce.

PrairieOyster · 03/01/2011 22:28

Oh I can't choose between S1 and S3 - I've only seen the S1 series once though, so memory is fading.

PassTheTwiglets · 03/01/2011 22:28

Have to say, am LOVING Barry The Goblin on Twitter! Twitter has been very amusing today.

I have my dunce hat on and can't work out TDHSVT or TDBBEMM....?

Holly, I presume you have seen all of RH? If not then it makes sense to start with S1. But otherwise I can't advise as I've seen none! (they have been paced on wishlist though, natch :) )

MrsLNP, you asked what I did at the Beeb - I was a production assistant in radio.

What's happened to Missy?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 22:35

Twigs, I have only seen S2, where Guy is at his most luscious, IMHO. S1 would make most sense, I suppose.
I can't work out the SVT abbreviation of MrsLN's, either, but the other one is Tall Dark Blue-eyed Mystery Man.

I was wondering about Missy too, Twigs. Maybe she's busy. Hope they're not ill or something.

Re Barry, I keep wanting to fetch Mr Plod to lock him up, like he does with the evil goblins in the Noddy Books.

PassTheTwiglets · 03/01/2011 22:58

Santa's Virtual Toy?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 23:07

Brilliant guess, Twigs! What a great invention that machine was.

Well, decision made. RH S1 ordered. Also The Sunne in Splendour
