Anyway, do we care? Hell, no...Wink!

Theresahollyinyourmind · 03/01/2011 00:13

I recently read a story in one of the UK dailies about someone who has just been cast for the Calendar Girl movie. She thought she was just going to be a peripheral sort of character but apparently she now finds she has to Reveal All. So I guess s**t like that happens in the biz.

Didn't they make that movie a while back? Was that article an old one?

PrairieOyster · 03/01/2011 00:16

Calendar Girls was a while ago now...may have just been an old article. Unless it's being remade already...surely not.

They do bare all in it for the photos, but they have cakes and buns and things in front of their naughty bits.

That's years old. Are you sure the article you read wasn't referring to the play rather than the film which afaik is still ongoing?

Theresahollyinyourmind · 03/01/2011 00:17

Or maybe it is the musical. Lawd help 'em

PrairieOyster · 03/01/2011 00:18

Gotta go now - are you in a slightly different time zone as us Teri, or do you just have more stamina than me?

MrsLucasNorth · 03/01/2011 00:18

...doughnuts - sorry my mind is wandering. I think it's time for bed!!!

Night, night & sweet dreams (here's hoping - mine just won't cooperate, dammit!)

Theresahollyinyourmind · 03/01/2011 00:19

Maybe you are right, mrsLNP. I should really have checked back to make sure before I posted, but I was too lazy tonight. It was just what she said though that struck me.

OP posts:
Theresahollyinyourmind · 03/01/2011 00:21

Different time zone, less stamina but more insomica, Oyster! Thanks for the conversation and see you soon. Night night mrsLNP, we really need that dream machine, don't we?

Theresahollyinyourmind · 03/01/2011 00:23

Tibbles! Tibbles! Puss puss puss!
Isn't it a bit cold for a night on the tiles? Oh well, your choice...

SnowyMoon · 03/01/2011 08:06

Morning! Thanks for latest episode mrs LN, I seemed to have missed the rest are they on the old thread? Who is Mary btw??

PassTheTwiglets · 03/01/2011 08:38

Gosh, I missed a lot last night! Sorry I missed SNT! I loved how Guy was all angry about it - and love how you worked PLFW in there :)

MrsLNP, so you're a journalist? Cool! I wanted to do that when I was younger but I went the Beeb route instead. I've only ever had to pretend interview people as part of a training programme and I'm with you & Oyster - hate it! Way too scary! Oyster, what do you do, or would it out you?

I'm up for a CA outing, btw! (Holly, what a shame you couldn't come!!)

Re. Cold Feet being cheap on amazon - I recently added that to my wishlist :) It is shocking, there is only one thing that isn't RA-related on there Blush B'day is on 12th, btw, and am currently trying to decide what I can make DH watch with me :) I made him sit through Twilight last year and am thinking Spooks 7.1 this year (don't think 8.4 would be a good idea, LOL). We started S4 last night which is why I wasn't around (can't concentrate on plot whilst MNing). We're obviously not going to fit in S4, 5 and 6 before next week and I don't really want any spoilers, but I was thinking that maybe 7.1 was just introducing Lucas without too many spoilers... anybody know? I think I need to watch at least a tiny but of PSM on my birthday :)

Oyster, can you send me the fanfic link too, please?!

PassTheTwiglets · 03/01/2011 08:39

Snowy, Mary is Mrs Claus. I LOL'd at "hopefully he'll be fit to travel by morning"!

MrsLucasNorth · 03/01/2011 09:44

What did you do at the Beeb Twigs? I toyed with the idea of tv/film production or radio (did hospital radio in my teens) before going for journalism. Also did some work experience at the BBC Magazines dept! My SIL starts work at White City end of this month doing something teccie for the company that runs that side of things for them.

Glad you all enjoyed latest chapter. Snowy - there's been about 7 chapters so far so some will be on the previous thread. Started 23rd December I think?

MrsLucasNorth · 03/01/2011 09:52

Lots of silliness occurring on Twitter this morning, and a few nice pics too! Smile

Theresahollyinyourmind · 03/01/2011 10:34

Good morning all. So guess how I spent the morning so far. I was going to muck out the pig-sty, right?

Wrong. Ladies. A word of warning. Don't ever opt for a 'quick look' at the PSM before you start, because I'm

That Lucas is beyond pretty, he is head to toe exquisiteness -- cubed.

How could they have done what they did to him? He was so heroic and sweet in this episode. And so oooooh...

Help! However am I going to function for the rest of the day?

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 10:40

OK, back to Theresa now. But you can still call me Holly if you want Smile

StripeyMoon · 03/01/2011 11:03

what is PSM???? I feel like I know nothing anymore!

Twigs I have messaged you. Can you send me the fan link too Oyster please?

StripeyMoon · 03/01/2011 11:04

ooh great minds Theresa, I have reverted also!

MrsLucasNorth · 03/01/2011 11:17

PSM - Pretty Spy Man Grin!

StripeyMoon · 03/01/2011 11:20

Ahhhh of course!! PSM Grin

PrairieOyster · 03/01/2011 11:58

Watching Sparkhouse would have probably put you in a better mood to muck out the pigs, Teri. On second thoughts, if you watched Episode 3, perhaps not...

The PSM - not heard that before, I'm more of a TDHCMO kind of person...

Do you think in ten yrs we'll look back and think "what were we thinking!"

MrsLucasNorth · 03/01/2011 12:11

Nope! Right I can get the Tall Dark Handsome bit, what's CMO?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/01/2011 12:50

Well, pigs not so much mucked out as clean straw forked carefully over the worst of it. Why use up precious free time doing housework when there are far nicer things to do?

Re the ten years time scenario, if it were a bunch of snub nosed kids from a boy band we were obsessing over, I can tell you as one who has done much the same as that, you would indeed be thinking 'what were we thinking?'

I think we'll be still following his career with varying degrees of interest. Smile Because he's so much more than a pretty face. His character live and breathe and make you think, as well as . And will, I am sure, be still doing so in ten years time.

Golly, I am getting as bad as Teri the Fangirl.

StripeyMoon · 03/01/2011 13:13

I still look at Russell Crowe in gladiator Grin
