MrsLNP, you little twirter :o I think I have too many RL people following me now to be able to twirt properly :( I am fed up with Twitter JP and Danni now though. I do'nt ge what's going on - is he engaged to whoever 'Danni' is in RL, does anyone know? Or is it just a jokey Twitter thing? Your hand-kiss was lovely though, Holly! Still, once you've have TTL "snog your face off", a hand kiss is nothing... :o

What are we all up to tonight? DD wants to stay up until midnight (annoying, as I don't want to stay up that late!) So I think we will all snuggle in bed together and watch our new Dr Who DVD and then Mummy and Daddy can nod off if we want, whilst she tries to stay awake!

Anyway I shall be behaving myself on there from now on as I may have been outed Maybe as well.

Plans for tonight are very boring as I was up very early today for once so am flagging already. Nothing on our telly so I may dig out a DVD too-- I have so many I bought in the early autumn. Then I got sucked into the Academy, I lost all interest in anything else and I forget what i've got.

If all is quiet I might even do some writing, I have been having a lot of fun with that recently. Hoping MrsLNP is in a similar frame of mind before too long. Unreasonable of me to expect a chapter when there are so many parties she must have to go to.

What about everybody else? Lots of fun in the offing, I hope.

I think I would probably prefer it too, actually :)

I'd happily be writing and mumsnetting all evening but I expect everyone else has more sociable plans!

We are doing our New Year socialising this afternoon so I expect I shall be here - quelle surprise - this evening, one eye on the Academy and the other on Jools and his Hootenanny.

Not unreasonable at all Holly. Since having DD, New Years Eve is a total non-event - cabs and babysitters too thin on the ground or expensive for us and our mates - none of whom are within walking distance.

Would have posted another chapter last night but after the in-laws and with it being a bit quiet decided to have a night off.

Not a serious outing, Twiggy, I made a bit of a mistake and Oyster found out my Twitter name. Not that I mind her or anyone here knowing but now I have to make certain I only use Twitter for , ahem, Academy-related purposes and not for people to do with my other social circles and interests. Then it won't matter.

Teri the Fangirl was wanting to give you all a New Years' present tonight, though it looks as if we may need a new common room before hand.

The Academy Michelangelo is being swathed in bubblewrap and lowered into a crate even as we speak. Something so precious requires, err, careful handling.

I think I need to authorise any new followers though so not sure how that works. DH suddenly decided to sign up so he could follow the Ashes and I didn't want him tracking me down and interfering with my 'secret life' online !
