Welcome to the new common room! Grab yourself some Twiglets and a glass of Chateau Gisborne or some Polish Cordial and come on in - the water's lovely!

I am here tonight as DH is stuck at Belfast airport! I was planning a date with Dr Track (still haven't seen ep4) but maybe we can invite him to the party too?

How can we Secret Santa vids? Love the idea but am too idiotic to think of the logistics :)

Completely off-topic but, speaking as Flowers and I were about Mr Craig's Bond, did anybody see Scott on Strictly at the weekend?

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorth · 06/12/2010 17:32

I had exactly the same plans as you Boden (think I need to finish ep 3 first).
We need to change our usernames before posting secret Santa vids.
How does 9pm kick off sound.
May be able to squeeze Dr Track in on portable dvd player in bath first that way! Grin

vintageteacups · 06/12/2010 17:54

what's the fruit bowl then?
Phew about the book's Mr Thornton not being violent; I can revel in his gentleness.

Imagine - RA as the new Bond. They would never need to replace him....ever!

Bodenbabe · 06/12/2010 17:58

9pm is good! Kids in bed by 8, Dr Track done by 9. I am desperately trying to diet at the moment and therefore trying to not do wine Mon-Thurs, but it wouldn't be a party without some Chateau Gizzy now, would it? :) So do we just choose one person to send a vid to? (trying to work out how we don't all send vids to the same person). First come, first served, sort of thing? I can't stay too late though - been up since 4am with the 3yo Confused

StripeyMoon · 06/12/2010 18:00

Yes Boden, post who your vid is for after briefly name changing.

Just to let you know I am Not Fussy.

asmallbunchofflowers · 06/12/2010 18:16

Did someone suggest a party? I'll be here, suitably disguised of course (and probably far too late for my own good).

My Preferences Are Well Known.

MrsLucasNorth · 06/12/2010 18:24

I have just been to corner shop for chateau gizzy, not no twiglets so got a bag if Thorntons chocs!

Just I well I only had salad for dinner!

MrsLucasNorth · 06/12/2010 18:28

Another typo - not a huge grammatical cock-up there btw!

Bodenbabe · 06/12/2010 18:30

At the moment the 3 and 7yo are arguing about whether the 3yo is magnetic - suffice to say I am looking forward to a party :)

OP posts:
StripeyMoon · 06/12/2010 18:34

ROFL at magnetic children Grin

Bodenbabe · 06/12/2010 18:40

His argument was that he is magnetic because the soggy Cheerios in his bowl this morning stuck to his hand :o

OP posts:
StripeyMoon · 06/12/2010 18:43

Fair point well made

MrsLucasNorth · 06/12/2010 18:49

Bless - am loving that logic!

StripeyMoon · 06/12/2010 18:52

I have made my selection Grin

Theresaholeinyourmind · 06/12/2010 20:09

Well, I shall be here around nine too. You will of course never guess my preferences.
What is the dress cide, btw?

Bodenbabe · 06/12/2010 20:12

Oh, Dr Track... am on ep4 at the mo and will be back after that.

OP posts:
Bodenbabe · 06/12/2010 20:17

MrsLN, we must tear ourselves away from the boys by 9pm :)

OP posts:
Bodenbabe · 06/12/2010 20:24

PasstheTwiglets · 06/12/2010 21:08

Oops, Santa apologises that he didn't notice the previous recipient. You can have that as a freebie then, MrsLN, but Santa will find another treat for someone else in his sack...
