How extremely dedicated of you, Boden, to note them all. But the re-run was really no trouble at all. I had forgotten how many shots of the eyes there were there, too. Such manifold delights.
Thanks to that and Mrs LN's writing skill, I am feeling really in need of that couch in your photo..And a large fan or two.

It seems we have not seen much of Mr Thornton today, it's been a lot about Lucas.
So here is

asmallbunchofflowers · 01/12/2010 23:39

That was quite lovely. Thank you.

I thought so too. And aren't I good, no Guy tonight!

asmallbunchofflowers · 01/12/2010 23:46

Would you like me to find you a treat from the basement? It may not be new, but it will be, ahem, thought-provoking. Think of it as an early dip in the Christmas bran tub.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/12/2010 23:49

Oh, would you?

asmallbunchofflowers · 01/12/2010 23:55
. I don't think we've seen it before.

And for you because you remembered the nightingale, some emotion recollected in tranquility Grin

Haiku-ette for November 21st 2010

sleeping world
wakeful heart
blue moon nightingale sings silver waterfalls

asmallbunchofflowers · 02/12/2010 00:03

That is lovely. I do like a nice haiku. Everything condensed into 17 perfectly-chosen syllables. Pity old William never tried it.

Should I post my own creative writing, I wonder?

Poor Guy. Some lovely shots there along with the tragedy.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 02/12/2010 00:08

Whyever not, Flowers? Evderyone else does.

''A leather-clad villain named Guy
Was particularly azure of eye...''

No, I must not, at last, do limericks.

asmallbunchofflowers · 02/12/2010 00:14

Officer Flowers' riposte

?Look here, young man?, said Officer Flowers, remembering just in time that a security officer is never off duty, ?you may think that because you addressed me as darling (the word ends in a g, by the way) and waggled an eyebrow at me, I can be distracted from my work. How wrong you are?. With that, she brought her clipboard up sharply under John Lucas?s chin, sending him reeling. In one swift and graceful movement, Officers Flowers had handcuffed him, to be led away by the security guard whose resemblance to Jean Claude van Damme he had noticed earlier.

?One last thing, Mr Lucas. I do hope you will now revise your opinion of older women. Age brings its own wisdom, you know, and it?s not all about sensible shoes and pension plans?.

?Oh, I know?, stammered John Lucas. ?I know?.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 02/12/2010 00:18

That told him, Flowers. I hope he repents thoroughly in his cold cell at night. Though I do hope you won't keep him there for eight years.

Limericks are the tool of the devil, I must not do them.

asmallbunchofflowers · 02/12/2010 00:26

Oh go on, you know you wnat to. You've obviously got at least one half-written.

What happens next to John Lucas is up to MrsLN. I'm sure he'll work his usual magic. But if he comes near me again he can expect to get zapped with my sonic lipstick.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 02/12/2010 00:33

Then you can draw fake tattoos all over him with it.

''Officer flowers woz 'ere'', with appropriate pictorial repersentation, instead of the William Blake

I really didn't write the rest of the limerick but the only rhyme for twiglet I could think of was piglet.

I think you'll have to abandon Thornton, and stick to John. As it were.

asmallbunchofflowers · 02/12/2010 00:33

A leather-clad villain named Guy
Was particularly azure of eye
When he pulled off his mitten
Theresa was smitten
And nobody needs to ask why.

B- See me after class.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 02/12/2010 00:39

It's even clean. Well done and thank you!

asmallbunchofflowers · 02/12/2010 00:42

I think perhaps you misunderstand the purpose and specification of my sonic lipstick!

I've been struggling to incorporate a piglet into my ode, but nil desperandum. I will never abandon Mr Thornton, as you know. And with that thought I finally bid you good night.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 02/12/2010 00:45

Good night and sweet Milton dreams. Of course I know you would never abandon your Mr Thornton, I merely meant abandon trying to find a rhyme for his august name. But you knew that I am sure.

asmallbunchofflowers · 02/12/2010 00:48

So sorry. Meant to post the illustrated version.
