And here are our study materials for the evening. Not sure if we've had them before, but have tried to find new ones - is getting trickier Grin!

Enjoy!

just checking in and out again. Will be out all day tomorrow so will see you upon my return.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/11/2010 22:20

Yes, it's selfish of me to want him to be doing live theatre. I can understand that you may eventually tire of watching RH and Spooks. And even Doctor Jumpsuit may pall after a while.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/11/2010 22:25

On the other hand we could all jack in the day-jobs and descend on London, Flowers.

Ps I'll fight you for youngest - depends when you're 36!!

Night all - hoping for a calmer more relaxed few days. Still 2 weeks til colonel fettle is home again so lots of distraction necessary!Grin

Night Fettle. Come back soon.

MrsLucasNorth · 22/11/2010 22:31

Only just 35 Fettle.

On my phone if you scroll up to the Sleb Twaddle header then over to the right you should see a 'show as pages' option.

Hello !!!

The sheriff had a bath on RH once - and stood up in front of Gizzy - seen that one?

Much excitement on Twitter - Steve Martin replied to my tweet - yes the real Steve Martin

Regarding whereabouts of RA - I believe filming Captain America at Shepperton Studios five minutes drive from my house!!!

To find Lovelace fic try searching for fedoralady

BodenBabe · 22/11/2010 22:42

Yes, that is Frank. I was convinced it was Bing at first but it is definitely a young Frank.

LOL at 'Doctor Jumpsuit' :) I have one episode of that left.

I'm with Flowers on the theatre work - I would LOVE to see him on stage. I have been a huge fan of Kevin Spacey for years and and seeing him on stage was thrilling. Thinking back, I'm surprised I never got to see RA through work actually (ex-BBCer) - I did get to see Simon LeBon though, so it wasn't an entirely wasted career :)

Desperately hoping somebody annoys me tomorrow, so that I can call them a petulant little fuckwit. What a fabulous phrase.

MrsLucasNorth · 22/11/2010 22:45

Saw your SM tweet Oyster - v. cool!

Off to Google Shepperton Studios - may have to pay a festive visit to my family in SE London (via a little detour) Grin

Possibly not with my Geography skills...

Thankfully I missed that climatic moment, Oyster. Poor Guy, no wonder he got so bloody-minded at times.
Ewwww!

It is always great to see famous actors live on stage, they seem to revel in it so much.
I suppose it's the core theatre experience. to be there in from of a live audience.

Thanks, Boden. According to the interweb, Frank recorded that song at least three times. A youthful version would explain the lack of smoothness.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/11/2010 22:59

Thanks, Boden. I still think that Let It Snow sounds much more like Frank than Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. Must be the change of timbre as he gets older. Will dig out some of my early Frank recording tomorrow for a comparative study.

Right. I'm having an early night. I got to bed late yesterday (too much time hyperventilating here) and woke very early.

I leave you with a treat from the archive. If MadameOvary has not seen it before it could be part of her .

Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/11/2010 23:02

Oh, I know this one, Flowers. I just know I am going to say baaaaad things again, so you better not turn back and look at us.

Good night, and thanks for all the lovely things you told us.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/11/2010 23:04

I know you know it, Theresa. But it is our duty, surely, to draw it to the attention of a wider audience?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/11/2010 23:11

Of course of course, Flowers. I merely meant I know it in the sense that it is one of the jewels in our crown, to be approached with reverence, and joy

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/11/2010 23:12

And as I lack the stamina for two cultural experiences in two days, and so am not seeing Rufus at the Albert Hall tonight, I also leave you .

PrairieOyster · 22/11/2010 23:13

I know it's Britney, but I find irresistable...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/11/2010 23:16

Which one is that Oyster? I am getting copyright ishoos with it and it won't let me see it.

PrairieOyster · 22/11/2010 23:18

Womanizer - interesting moment around 3.03

PrairieOyster · 22/11/2010 23:22

Womanizer downloadable from here - if so inclined...about half way down.

MrsLucasNorth · 22/11/2010 23:24

Mmmmm!

Have you seen the vid to 'Rude Boy' by Rihanna - lots of 3.03 type moments [winks]
