Well, of course, when I say corrupted I simply mean that I am beginning, ahem, to understand why some ladies have fallen so heavily for his disreputable charms!
Yes, the "I'm lithe" line was very funny. As was another line about "look! I've got all this hair", at which he pulled his fringe forward and swished it around in shampoo advert stylee. This is why I think he's such a good sport, as so much of it depended on (an affectionate) mocking of his screen persona.
I will share but really don't want people to start rolling their eyes and say "yeah, yeah, we know you were there, now just shut up about it". But I'm still glad I went. It was my duty, as they say, to take one for the team. As Harry said in the last episodes of Spooks, it was My Turn.
Looking at YT, what seems to be there are the films they show before the plays, which record the backstage stuff - the actors introducing themselves, the writers staring at blank sheets of paper/screens etc. So I expect this year's will end up on YT. The plays themselves don't seem to. They are beautiful bubbles which exist for half an hour and then pop, never to be seen again. Anyway, the film will be a treat because Mr Armitage is about the first actor they question about why he's taking part.
I have achieved a Twitter breakthrough. I have unfollowed TeenageTwitterLucas. He's all yours, BodenBabe.
Right. Off to work.
