I was in prison about 18 years ago, between the ages of 19-22. I now volunteer with charities supporting female prisoners. AMA

Have no skin in this game but wish posters would ask direct questions rather than trying to catch people out. Just ask what you want to ask! Many, many people are told to get a letter from their parents saying they are being kicked out in order to try and get a council house - it isnt a new.
OP is anything of your business or your husbands business not strictly legal? I think that’s what other posters are getting at.
I don’t know why you are being slammed for cleaning when so many people wouldn’t ‘demean’ themselves doing that and would claim benefits instead

on a thread about universal credit discounts for attractions…. Clearly very clearly you ARE claiming UC

That was actually a PIP statement because you get discount or some sort of adjustments at some places for being disabled as one of my kids are. It's the same difference though in terms of what you have to show.

I have claimed IS in my lifetime but not UC.

Good god, so you’re saying that because of some injustices inherent in the legal system - you don’t have any respect for the law? Sweet Jesus, you are “raising” 4 DC 😞

None at all. I have respect for integrity, kindness and general good character. Do you respect the plantation owners who legally enslaved Africans?

Okay.

  1. PIP isn’t universal credit
  2. you can’t download PIP statements because there aren’t any for PIP

How would you claim UC fraudulently if you own a business and more than one home?

You go online at gov.uk and sign in to get proof of benefits. Any benefit. We don't get anything else so for us, it's the PIP online account

No you don’t for pip
pip is different
to get a statement you actually have to call and request one

and there is NO such think as a “PiP online account”

oh dear - just spend a moment googling before you lie about something so easy
