Poor you that’s a long time to wait @Blimmingboobs

All going well this end. Quite enjoying watching daytime TV and being waited on 😆

Madagascary · 24/10/2024 16:36

🤣

Blimmingboobs · 24/10/2024 21:38

I’m out. Bit woozy. It’s an expensive way to lose half a stone but I am happy.

How’s everyone this morning?

OP posts:
Blimmingboobs · 25/10/2024 06:43

Morning all, I am not too bad but glad I stayed in overnight. I have very low blood pressure and almost faint every time I go to the bathroom.

But I literally can’t believe how small my boobs are!

Lemonadeintheshade · 25/10/2024 07:17

Glad it all went well @Blimmingboobs, hope your pain is at a minimum and you slept ok.
My blood pressure is also low, last reading was 83/48. I’ve just had a custard cream to see if some food helps. Going to go for a walk along the corridor too.
Didn’t sleep that well, can’t wait to get home. Not feeling any pain, occasional twinge. Have had paracetamol and ibuprofen which is no doubt helping lots.

Madagascary · 25/10/2024 08:30

Remember the stomach shock

OP posts:
Blimmingboobs · 25/10/2024 08:50

OMG I was just brushing my teeth and realised that my boobs weren’t getting in the way.

Who knew that was even a thing?!

I was prepare for the stomach shock, thanks to you guys, and my core is a bit sore from getting up and down without using my arms.

😂brilliant ...

@Blimmingboobs @Lemonadeintheshade delighted for you both! Early days so, chill, don't do anything you don't need to, rest and recover. Honestly I still marvel at my boobs every single day over a year later. It really is THE BEST THING I've ever done for myself.

They really are teeny now .. you have no idea how much swelling is there in the first 6 months or so ... honestly I reckon a full year to see your 'final' shape. And what @Madagascary said .. I'm always noticing women struggling with their boobs ,. . it's so hard not to sayt .. 'have you any idea how transformative it would be if you weren't carrying those huge sacks around on your chest'!!!! Granted there are plenty of people who may be totally fine with it .. but, well, you know... cause it is the little everyday movements like cleaning your teeth where you realise that you've been working around your tits your entire life ...

Madagascary · 25/10/2024 12:25

Yoh wait until your laxatives start working!!

also - crossing your arms. So odd

plus you can wear necklaces

Also remember day three is difficult because anaesthetic and you feel a bit low. But power through. Totally agree it is every single day. I remember how brilliant this is.

Am regretting my shit core strength more than ever because my ribs and pathetic abs are killing me from trying to get up and down without using my arms.

Still worth it though

francy99 · 26/10/2024 08:54

Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for surgeons/clinics in the Yorkshire area for breast reduction surgery. My 19 year old daughter is a size 34 GG, not overweight, and hates how big her breasts are. Clothes shopping a nightmare and has to get large sizes to fit around them, not nice for a teenager. My fear is getting older and having kids they get bigger. A friend of hers has just been to turkey for a breast reduction but I said no way you are going. I would help her out with the cost to have surgery in the UK. Don’t think she would get the op on the NHS

Top tip: stop getting up and down

Hi francy99 she might get it in NHS if her BMI is low enough, deffo worth asking.

i had considered going abroad and having just gone through mine I have to say I am so glad I didn’t. I think lots could get confused in translation and a car ride home was bad enough let alone airports and flights.

Blimmingboobs · 27/10/2024 03:23

So, I’ve just bought 10 bras online. In various sizes. Just because I can 😂

Madagascary · 27/10/2024 08:04

Wally! Do keep the receipts

LOL not been called a wally for years 😆

Made me feel better; I enjoyed the shopping and I’ll enjoy them arriving and then, you’re right, I may have to return some.

Blimmingboobs · 28/10/2024 05:15

@Lemonadeintheshade how are you doing? Are you sleeping well?

I rarely have difficulty sleeping but at the moment I can’t get comfortable (am I still supposed to be sleeping sitting up? Night 4?).

I seem to be exhausted but wide awake 90% of the time 🙄

Lemonadeintheshade · 28/10/2024 07:41

The sleeping is the most difficult bit. I’d had enough by last night and lay much flatter. It definitely helped and I actually had some quality sleep! I think we’ve got this for 4-6 weeks 🤦‍♀️
How are you doing apart from sleep? I had a much better day yesterday, went to my mother in laws for lunch. Sorted out some washing, albeit on my knees and very slowly. Just felt a bit more normal. Would love to fast forward the recovery, not very good at being a patient!

Madagascary · 28/10/2024 09:06

Yes, sleeping upright. Is the hardest my surgeon didn’t really give me much advice how long to do it for?

OP posts:
Madagascary · 28/10/2024 09:07

Christ sake, stop doing washing
