Hello!

I know when I was considering having surgery done I researched everywhere for peoples experiences and would have found an AMA helpful

I had a 360 Tummy tuck, lipo, breast lift and implant and my arms done in Turkey
So basically a brand new body!

I'm happy to answer questions if anyone wants to ask anything

Do you have a job? How do you get so much time off if its cosmetic surgery? Actually I always wonder this for any cosmetic surgery, do you have to take annual leave?

No way would I have the bollocks to go to Turkey to get all that done!

God I would love this, but also want my inner thighs doing! Thanks for the thread!

I fancy my thighs doing too, but that's quite a big one to recover from
My legs look worse than they usually do because of the swelling in my body

I'm mindful of not falling in a trap of wanting more surgery

I had realistic expectations, I'm v happy with the results I have I'm grateful for the change to my life its made and for a problem free recovery.

No I don't work atm.
I was absolutely crapping it going alone to Turkey but I was confident I was in good hands
But yeah a lot of people have told me I'm crazy for having major surgery alone all that way from home

This is what was taken in the 360TT
My whole lower body has been lifted, my bum and mons area has all moved
The lipo was to sculpt my new shape

Is that you actual body before OP or just an illustrative example?

Whats the name of the clinic?

Has it actually made you happy & content with yourself? I’ve seen a few people have procedures and then just want more done. They never seem happy with themselves.

Did anyone try and persuade you not to have the surgery?

Hi, I didn't see the last few messages.
The clinic I went with was Ace in Antalya.

No,nobody tried to talk me out of surgery my partner was v supportive, he met me they way I was and couldn't understand why I hated my body so much, as he loved me the way I was.
My parents were worried, but trusted i had done my research, my mum knew how much it meant to me.
Other people I just told when I got back.

Yes I am happy with the way I look now
I can't believe it's me looking back at me in the mirror
I had realistic expectations of what I would look like, I looked at before pics of people that looked like me not stock pics of people on clinics websites, I have some swelling on my back that I'm not 100% happy with, this may go down, my surgeon has said to wait and see, but if not he will perform a revision.

Wow amazing results, you must be over the moon!
I’ve had surgery and dental work abroad, Thailand, hungry and Czech.
all have been brilliant.
Through this I ended up working in the field of medical complication insurance and I can 100% state that the UK DOES NOT have the best surgeons or standards - in fact we’re known to have some of the lowest entry rates for cosmetic surgeons and many other surgeons and countries are shocked by the low standard of care versus high price in Britain.

Thankyou!
I am over the moon, I never dreamed that the surgeon could ever give me results like this.

I agree the standard of care I received was incredible down, to my surgeon changing my dressings, holding my hand when I was obviously in pain he was in my hotel room within 10/15 mins when I called as I was having a problem after I was discharged.
The hospitals was immaculate, I felt safer there ( even in a foreign country, alone) than I have done in NHS hospitals

Results look amazing but can't help think how painful it must have been. I've only ever had c section and that was bad enough.

I'd always say never go to Turkey but sounds like you did a lot of research and found a good one 👍

Honestly the pain was nothing like I thought it would be, I had my arms done at the same time too.

3 days after surgery paracetamol was enough for pain relief.
4 days after surgery I was walking to the shop and having my hair washed at the hairdressers.

One of the most painful things was an allergic reaction to the tape on the dressings on my arm, the skin blistered and was really sore and bothered me for longer than the rest of the surgery.

It was so painful, it actually stopped me moving my arms more than lipo and lift I had on them.
It took longer to heal than the stitches !

I see this quite often , I work in the NHS. People going abroad for major surgery , then they get an infection or become unwell and the NHS has to treat them. Quite frustrating.

I know, annoying as fuck, this woman is eight weeks post surgery and thinks she out of the woods… does my head in!

As ever, the NHS left to pick up the pieces because someone wanted to save a few quid. This must cost the NHS £1000s.

Not everyone speaks so highly of medical tourism. Some of them aren't in a.position to speak at all.

I understand that risks occur with any surgery, weight loss surgery is a completely different surgery to what I had done
I spent years researching the clinic and surgeon, spoke to people who had surgery with him and with the clinic. It is incredibly sad what does happen to some people, but there are risks with any surgery but thorough research reduces those risks significantly.
