Hello!

I know when I was considering having surgery done I researched everywhere for peoples experiences and would have found an AMA helpful

I had a 360 Tummy tuck, lipo, breast lift and implant and my arms done in Turkey
So basically a brand new body!

I'm happy to answer questions if anyone wants to ask anything

How did you find the booking process and aftercare? I've heard horrors about Turkey teeth, but in all honesty I had a private boob job in the UK and felt insanely pressured in the booking process and the aftercare was incredibly poor, so staying local isn't always an amazing option either (I went with MYA)

Hi, I found the process very easy.
The company I booked with arranged everything for me.

Absolutely no pressure at all from them at all.

With regards to Aftercare I've not had any issues, I had a slight infection in my breast around the nipple, my surgeon had sent me home with antibiotics if I needed them.
The infection started 2/3 weeks after surgery so wasn't anything to do with thr surgeon, it was just one of those things that happens, I had a lot of stiches so I was lucky it was just one area affected.

I am able to contact my surgeon he gave me his personal number, so I showed him the wound and antibiotics were started

MYA are actually on some botched surgery lists, they have a very bad reputation

How much did it cost?

Did you go on your own? How did you pick your surgeon in the end? There's loads (having looked at lipo myself but worried about the pain).

What size cup did you go from and to? How long is the recovery period post op (Boob job)? Was it very painful? How long was the trip to Turkey?

A hell of a lot less than the UK!

A 360TT is around 8/9 k alone in the UK

I had a huge weight loss about 7st, so it was a big operation I needed to have

It was roughly 10k for all surgery, accommodation, transfers, transport, medication and garments needed after surgery.

The standard of care I received was unbelievable.

Yes, I travelled alone
That was scary, but the minute I landed the clinic was in touch and a translator and driver were waiting for me.
I was taken straight to the hotel as I landed in the early hours.

I researched and researched the hell out of it for years, I spoke with ladies who had it done, I followed people who had similar before bodies to me.

The most painful part of the whole procedure probably was lipo, but 5 days after surgery I didn't need painkillers it was just uncomfortable

How are you feeling now, OP? Any regrets - be it "wish I'd not bothered with this bit" or " wish I'd done that"? Many congrats on the weight loss!!

Did you have a muscle repair as well?

How till you were recovered and back to normal activites?

It wasn't as painful as I was preparing myself for!
After being discharged from hospital I was given antibiotics, paracetamol and naproxen. I needed them when I woke up to get going but not really during the day.

My boobs were 32H before but were v saggy, I had a very small implant for shape so I'm guessing they will be roughly the same size when fully healed

I'm 2 months post op now, 6 months is when I'll see my full results due to swelling.
Recovery time is hard to say, my arms were the hardest to cope with after as I couldn't raise my arms for a couple of weeks

2/3 weeks after I was pretty much back to normal, but taking it easy

I had an uplift rather than reduction as I loves how they looked in a bra

I was in hospital 3 nights, I was in turkey for 2 weeks in total, I was bored out of my mind as I was alone so pulled my flight forward as I felt fine physically

I have absolutely no regrets, this has changed my life
I am still v swollen and won't see my final results till 6 months
Everyday my body changes and I can't believe that it's me looking back at myself
The clinic said its one of the biggest transformations they have seen.
My surgeon is an absolute genius, he is a professor of cosmetic surgery and its unbelievable what he has done

My notes that I came back with to give to my GP say 10cm repair was carried out which was shocking

I'm 2 months post surgery now, I'm normal day to day, I can't have a bath for another few weeks but I can shower and was able to as soon as I was discharged.
I just have to take things easy for a while

Could you tell me the company you used please. I really want cosmetic surgery similar to what you had.

I am booked to go to Turkey in 11 days time for surgery. Rhinoplasty and Chin liposuction. I’m absolutely dreading it as I don’t like flying and don’t like being alone . Also the clinic was really nice to me till I paid my deposit but now they seem a lot less helpful. Making me very nervous 😬

I see this quite often , I work in the NHS. People going abroad for major surgery , then they get an infection or become unwell and the NHS has to treat them. Quite frustrating.

Who else do you begrudge using the NHS?

Smokers
Drug addicts
Migrants
Drunken adults on a weekend
People that get into fights
People who live in new builds within villages?

What do you mean not so nice now?
Are they not replying to you, have you searched to see if anyone else has had similar problems?

I had antibiotics from the surgeon ready to take, the practice nurse changed a dressing for me.
That's the total of my drain on the NHS
I lost the weight myself, no need for weight loss surgery funded by the NHS.

The practice nurse actually said that if I'd cut or burnt my hand whilst cooking they would have done more for me than give me some iodine patches and gauze.

well I got a patient adviser ie sales person!
they sent me lots of great info , videos etc . Then she gave me a quote it was in euros. So I said ok and she sent me the document to pay and it was in pounds but I didn’t notice the pound sign as I’d had it in my head it was euros . And a lot of the clinics I’d had quotes from were also in Euros. So anyway I paid and realised it had come out in pounds not euros. So I asked her and sent the messages of her texts and she got really nasty with me ! Completely changed from the ‘yes dear ask me anything’. I hadn’t been funny with her as was my mistake not to check !
anyway since then she’s really changed but I’ve already paid the deposit and booked my flights ☹️

Actually the clinic has great reviews but her attitude has really worried me now

My advice would be if you haven't got total confidence in the clinic not to proceed

I suggest you join the botched surgery group on Facebook and ask for other people's experience of the clinic or see if they or the surgeon is on the lists they have.

I really suggest you have a look at that Facebook group.
Reviews can be misleading

@christmas2022 what have new builds in villages got to do with the NHS ?
The NHS is on its knees , so anything self inflicted , yes is frustrating.
Not alcoholics or drug addicts ,they are illnesses.
Getting pissed and fighting - yes.
