Me too. I occasionally think of it. I didn't do it for long but long enough to make me realise I wasn't really all that good at it :-). I too was a bit low at the time, felt unwell and desperate because I was unemployed. It gave me a bit of a boost for a while but wouldn't have wanted to take it up as a long term career.

Why do you favour the word 'Escort' over 'Prostitute'?

My understanding is that if an Escort has sex with a client that makes her a prostitute. Is that correct?

I know two women who were escorts. Both were sexually abused when younger and both have very very low self esteem ( even though you would only know if you knew them properly as both of them could be the life and soul of the party)

Both had consensual sex from the age of 13

I was sexually abused as a child by my brother.

At the time I started prostitution I had not long moved hundreds of miles to live with my boyfriend. He left me for someone else when I was pregnant m, I lost the baby and my home and ended up living with a girl I worked with.

Looking back I was in a terrible place though you wouldn’t have guessed had you known me at the time.

Like I said in a previous post I had no self respect at the time.
