Since there have been a few hair related threads lately I thought people might have questions.

Hi there! This is such an amazing thread- thank you for your time! My issue is I accidentally booked a hairdresser in my town with a chequered reputation to do a balayage. I got her on an off day and after the weirdest hair appointment ever, what I went home with was a half head of orange highlights that look stripey and terrible. There is a lot that's bad about it but possibly the worst is the fact that one of the stripes is on one side of my parting at the front of my head, with nothing on the other. It's like shit orange cruella deville. The thing is I can't afford to to go to a different hairdresser and get them to fix it for a couple of months and I can't go back to her and ask her to do it because I have subsequently learned she has a habit of turning up on people's doorsteps to argue, or shouting at them in car parks. I don't want that. So my question is is there any home dye I can use to put over my hair that temporarily will make it look less alarming? My hair is probably mid to dark brown at the moment, and I will and go and get it properly sorted soon, I just have to survive until then!

Help! Hair crisis! It might be a coincidence but since I last dyed my hair a week ago (L'Oréal Excellence, the new one with the shampoo in the box) I have had a greasy strip at the back of my head. The front is fine but it just isn't coming clean.

I'm assuming it's a silicone build up or similar, although I basically know nothing. What can I use to clear it?

Thank you so much!

I have a question.
What is the best way to "get rid" of a hairdresser that you feel almost obliged to?
I saw a lady in a salon and then she went "own business". This is a mixture between my home and hers but she is now setting up a salon in a new house. I don't want to use her anymore for a few reasons but feel almost obliged as it's her own sole trader income.
How do I move on kindly?

Can I jump on this and ask what you would do with my hair? I've been growing it for years and rarely get it cut so now it just looks dull and lifeless. I'm getting married in in a few months so don't want to take loads of the length.

Oh and is there anything to help your hair grow faster? Does the shampoo FAST actually work or is it just a gimmick? Thanks very much Smile

What shampoo for coloured hair would you recommend? I have long pillarbox red hair and use Osmo red revive to condition it and the Aussie colour shampoo.

Hi @LorelaiRoryEmily GrinGrin

I just wrote a thread about changing from having highlights every 6-8 weeks to more frequent bleach blonde all over dye and a poster suggested I posted in here! Hope you don't mind me resurrecting the thread...

Here is my original post

I've been getting bleach blonde highlights for YEARS but recently I've been considering instead going for an all over bleach blonde dye shamelessly influenced by a couple of super gorgeous social media influencers ()
I think I prefer the look of it
Is the upkeep super crazy? (I don't mind taking more frequent trips to the salon only if it would take significantly less time than highlights?

Sorry OP to dredge this up!

Any hair styling mannequin training heads you’d recommend? Thanks
