Shiny new thread.

Our local group had our first socially distant raid t'other day, there were 11 in the lobby and only 3 of us were physically at the gym. The bantz on the message group afterwards was funny though after I introduced them to a new word.

That's the negative side of lockdown, many players are too worried to get within 10m of another. There are some friends I haven't seen in months, and just a few I have seen to have a socially distant chat. Still, mustn't grumble.

Im feeling a bit grouchy, i walked just under 2km and hubby took my phone to a gym and walked about 1km and its not registered!

I have a 1km egg on that should have been hatched when i was out but nope. I have turned adventure sync on and off but its still not having it.

Hubby is blasting through the tasks and im still stuck on task 2!

Rant over 😂

Finished the task with a lovely shiny surprise at the end. Won't say what it was as don't want to spoil it for anyone. Also got a shiny Machop today Smile

@Holdingon this happened to my son. We closed the app down completely and it got a grip when we reopened it.

Need ledyba for the first 2 levels of the research. Surprisingly scarce, a bit like machop, last week.

I’ve restarted Pokemon go after forgetting my details from when it first began. Im only level 21 but I’m finding it a lot better now with stops and a gym by my house (my daily exercise route of choice).

I’ve added a couple of friends from the previous thread, name is also badger related Smile

I had a thing from Niantic pop up on my phone about becoming a Wayfarer. Does anyone know what this is? Is it for reviewing possible new pokestop locations?

I have no idea what a wayfarer is but sounds interesting. I've been doing the snubball research today. Seems to be going on and on! I thought it was a task like normal research ones, but I've done so many I've come to the conclusion it just keeps going while the event is on today. Now have a gazillion snubballs to send to the mincer!

I'm stuck on 3 great throws for the snubbull research. It took weeks to get them for the other research.

Try getting the great throws on a Sudowoodo as the ring is bigger and easier to hit.

I've only seen one sudowoodo and I did get a great on that. I've got 3 shiny snubbulls though and evolved one to a shiny granbull so can't grumble

You don't need to be invited to review potential Pokestops. Someone on our local group linked it and (I think) as long as your're level 40 you can review. TBH it's a bit dull after the novelty has worn off.

My 8yo has rediscovered Pokemon on lockdown is there an idiot guide anywhere so can get up to speed for him. For example earlier a poke stop was black and red and someone was there wanting to battle - why??

We have 3 poke stops in the village one just outside our garden (village hall on corner of road) so been able to up the number of balls in his bag.

He has his Pokemon directory book which is encouraging reading so bit going to complain Grin
