Thank you fsmile

Quick question on Emma Hardie: how much of the balm do you need to use?

usernameinfinito Thu 14-Dec-17 18:49:03

Hi, I think I will wait to use today's cream. I can't wait for tomorrow's treat! smile

Hareinthewoods Thu 14-Dec-17 18:51:51

Does anyone want my sponge? I don't mind what you swap with, just not the body lotion from day 1 or the nail varnish.

OOAOML Thu 14-Dec-17 18:54:44

If anyone is interested I'm happy to swap today's Emma Hardie stuff and the sponge?

TheLuminaries Thu 14-Dec-17 18:55:46

I wonder what the morning will bring grin

DaftCat Thu 14-Dec-17 18:56:34

I loved the smell of the perfume but my stupid body chemistry makes it smell vile. This happens with all perfumes. It’s most upsetting. Anyway, does anyone want it? I’ll happily send it to you.

MoonlightMedicine Thu 14-Dec-17 19:04:58

Marking my place. Really happy with the calendar again this year.

Nicketynac Thu 14-Dec-17 19:05:27

Tracy I used hardly any. Enough to cover my fingertip in a not too thick layer. That's not very specific but it melted straight into oil so a little went a long way. Smells very nice and my face is nice and soft afterwards.

Hareinthewoods Thu 14-Dec-17 19:07:24

Daftcat, I would happily take the perfume . Would you like my sponge?smile

TracyBeakerSoYeah Thu 14-Dec-17 19:15:28

Cheers Nickety

WindyWednesday Thu 14-Dec-17 19:28:53

Wow, I don’t think we went into thread two last year.

ToffeeNosed Thu 14-Dec-17 19:37:50

Perfume a bit odd, musky, like aftershave and oranges.
Has anybody tried the (day 8) black magic mascara? there is hardly anything in my tube!
On the whole though I'm very happy with the calendar.

AmethystMoon Thu 14-Dec-17 20:04:10

Ooh shiny new hopeful for tomorrow, it’s been great these last few days fgrin

NefretForth Thu 14-Dec-17 20:21:42

Thanks for new thread! Hope tomorrow's thing is good, it's been a crummy week at work and I need cheering up.

DaftCat Thu 14-Dec-17 20:24:19

@Hareinthewoods no that’s fine. I’ve got loads of them. Pm me your address and I’ll send it to you smile

SunnyUpNorth Thu 14-Dec-17 20:36:21

Oh I would love another of the perfume if anyone else has one to swop?

I've been dying to try the EH cleansing balm, didn't want to risk buying the full price one as it's so expensive, so very pleased with today.

YouWereRight Thu 14-Dec-17 21:13:47

I feel a bit meh about today's, it's a direct duplicate of the cleanser in last year's calendar. Why couldn't EH have given m&s another product to try.

TheLongRider Thu 14-Dec-17 21:31:43

I use a hazelnut sized lump of the Emma Hardie balm and warm it up between my fingers before spreading it on my face. A small amount goes a long way.

Kez0777 Thu 14-Dec-17 21:56:18

Just checking in on the new thread grin I loved today’s last year so really happy to get it again this year.

littlepooch Thu 14-Dec-17 22:02:51

Checking in too. I am very excited to try today's offering! Always wanted to try it so I am happy!

HeyRoly Thu 14-Dec-17 22:06:10

The moringa balm is the star product of the Emma Hardie range, so I'm not surprised it's been repeated. I've never tried it, although I first heard of it years ago, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go. It looks kind of similar to the Neal's Yard wild rose beauty balm, which I love, so fingers crossed grin

MelanieCheeks Thu 14-Dec-17 22:08:43

Very happy with the cleansing balm today.

This is my third year of m&s advent calendar, and I'm having fun recycling the boxes.

Plans are forming -daughter will be over, we will visit mum and sister will join us on Christmas Eve, so I intend to have a calendar for them to plunder, with a mix of the contents I didn't want, some miniature alcohol bottles, and some fun items like mint boxes, mini soaps, a tea bag.....

Blatant place marking fsmile
