Hello! Me Smile

I've had four positives now and I'm 3 weeks +1, but really expecting AF to show up on Friday - I don't know why, I think I just don't believe that it's real yet Blush

I don't have a proper due date yet obviously but it'll be very late July or very early August from what I can tell Smile

How about you?

Yes me! I am due late July/early August!
This will be our first after 2.5 years of trying, £14k spent on tests and failed IVF. After all that it was the biggest shock that it happened naturally! Seeing that bfp on Weds was the best feeling in the world!! I wish I had more faith that it will last but my partner has terrible sperm defragmentation which apparently doubles the miscarriage risk 😖

This is so scary isn’t it!!

I don’t want to jinx anything but I just got a BFP on three tests (two easy@home and one FRER), all in the afternoon with no holding. I’m only 9DPO, so know it’s early days.

I’m in total shock and so is my husband as this is only our second cycle trying, but first cycle really trying as we did SMEP.

So I’m here, tentatively, until I know for sure AF isn’t arriving which is next Thursday!

AF did not arrive for me today so I think this is really really it! Calling the midwife on Monday, I've been holding off as I really didn't believe it was real Grin

Hi, I don’t know my official due date yet but my apps are predicting 21st July, but my cycles were on the longer length so I ovulated around CD20 so I reckon I will be classed as being a week later than what my apps say. Congratulations everyone! 💕

Hey everyone! Congratulations on your BFPs 😁 15dpo, and have tested like mad since 10dpo I’m so nervous and just keep expecting AF to turn up. I thought the 2ww was bad, but I’m finding the days are dragging since finding out! I’m going to try book an early scan before Christmas and announce to close family and friends and work. I just really can’t believe it, I think I’ll let myself get excited after the weekend. AF was due anytime between yesterday and Sunday.

I know what you mean @Dinomama21 - it's why I've been holding off calling the doc about it, I felt like they'd laugh me out of the clinic! I'm also 15 dpo but short cycles (24 days) and CD25 today... you'll get there Smile

Dinomama21 · 19/11/2021 19:51

@Borgonzola I’m exactly like you! I won’t book the scan or call the midwife yet until I’m properly late 🙈 I’m CD27 - but I have three apps which are predicting different dates for AF🙈 27 day average cycle so I’m taking it as I’m officially late tomorrow. Is this your first? This will be DC2, we’ve been trying one and off for nearly 3 years , so I’m still a bit in denial

It is my first! Beyond excited Smile I've had one possible chemical a few months ago but this time I somehow just knew from last weekend - can't really put it into words, I just somehow felt like i was pregnant Smile

@Coco9910 We're in a pretty similar situation I think! My apps are saying 21st July too but I have irregular periods and think I ovulated on the 28th Oct. Took a clearblue digital on Wednesday and it gave me 3+ so I'm just going by the logic that I'm around 5 weeks pregnant. Just gonna go with that until my early scan that I've booked for 5th Dec 😂

What symptoms are you all having if any?

I had super sore boobs from early on (weirdly they are at their worst when I get up in the middle of night to go to the loo)
Also had heartburn, night sweats and chills throughout the day every now and again. Had cramping (more like twinges) throughout the day today and think I had my first run in with nausea too!

I woke up in the middle of the night the other night with rock hard boobs too Grin and they're not normally sore before my period but they are now. Also had the weird twinges/tweaking sensations but that's stopped a bit now. Plus a superhuman sense of smell. My DP had raw spring onions for lunch yesterday and I was Confused

I’ve been Googling and it’s making me so anxious getting a BFP at 9DPO 🤯. I could potentially be 10DPO as I didn’t do any OPKs and just judging it on ECWM and ovulation pain.

I’m starting to get cramps but I don’t know if it’s all in my head.

Misty84 · 19/11/2021 20:31

I normally get sore boobs the week before AF and so they’ve just stayed sore. That’s my only symptom and I’m 4 weeks.

Booked an early scan at 7 weeks- even that seems forever away! Time is definitely even slower than the tww like @Dinomama21 said!

@winkles23 I ovulated on 3rd November I believe, so I may potentially be a week behind you! I’m going to do the Clearblue weeks test in the morning and see what it says. I started thinking about an early scan but I think I’m going to try and sit tight and wait for the 12 week one.

I haven’t really had any symptoms, but from the moment I got my first BFP I’ve needed to go for a wee way more often, I get bloated every time I eat and feel heavy, and I get out of breath was quicker 😂 I’ve had cramps every day pretty much and I googled it and it says it can be down to your uterus and womb expanding and growing. It was quite painful and woke me up last night, it seems to be worse when I must have a full bladder 😅

I’ve been saving a digital, might do it tomorrow too @Coco9910

I’ve weirdly had sore boobs since ovulation, peeing non stop, been having naps after work this week because I feel exhausted and I’m really Gassy- sorry tmi 😂 the tiredness and sore boobs are a typical AF symptom for me so I’d convinced myself I was out this month. The wait is horrible isn’t it! @Misty84

I've just been browsing and couldn't help but get really excited when I saw you got your bfp @Firsttimetrier!!! Congratulations 🎉 (I hope you remember me from the October thread and don't think I'm just a random crazy lady 😂). Cramps are very very normal and you'll convince yourself that af will arrive!

Report
Firsttimetrier · 20/11/2021 06:50

Yes @Cruz86 ! I do remember you from the TTC threads. How are you? How is everything going?

It’s been a while ride since yesterday lunchtime as I only did a test as they arrived from Amazon and was super curious to see what happened as I didn’t think you’d even get a BFP at 9DPO?! I totally sure it would be a BFN! The two lines popped up straight away (wasn’t FMU and didn’t hold, I actually had a coffee an hour before). I did a FRER yesterday evening and again, the second line popped up straight away.

DH thought I had handed him two positive covid tests 🤣🤣 and thinks we’re having twins as the tests are so clear so early on 🥴

So I’ll say that SMEP is quite successful 😂

@Firsttimetrier wow those lines are so clear!! Congratulations!! I’ve been following your testing the past couple of days on the November thread and so happy you have made it over here 💕

@Rachipops congratulations! It’s so exciting seeing it in words! I’ve just done my first digital this morning at 17dpo and got 2-3 weeks. Going to save my other one for next weekend and hopefully it will be 3+ ☺️
