do you not work in a hospital, I have used the hospital nursery for emergency care (couple of weeks), although they did not have any permanent places for dd

nailpolish · 31/01/2008 14:17

yes but the nursery wont collect dd1 from shcool will they

madness · 31/01/2008 14:20

no, but I had another mum collecting ds, I didn't want to ask her to look after both children so had to spread them out to varies different poeple/places on various different days...

nappyaddict · 31/01/2008 14:23

good luck on finding a nanny

chatee · 31/01/2008 14:24

could a mum not collect dd1 and put her in the nursery with your other dd?presuming it has after school care.

  1. local advert
  2. cis
  3. after school club places
  4. students on courses regarding childcare?
  5. beg

hope you sort it out

ask at any local colleges?

ChristmasShinySnowflakes · 31/01/2008 14:29

nailpolish I have friends in Edinburgh and Glasgow who may be able to help you, and could recommend a good agency if that would help?

BellaLasagne · 31/01/2008 14:30

I vote for the temporary nanny too. I had one while I did teacher training and had to be in school full time for 2 weeks and she was brilliant.

I agree with the others, if it's your dream job you'll regret it if you don't do it!

Look at the cost of the nanny as an investment in your whole families future. Phone round agencies now and get a feel for availability before you accept tomorrow.

CountessDracula · 31/01/2008 14:31

i am hassling her on msn

ca7439 · 31/01/2008 14:37

isn't it worth asking at nursery if they pick up from school?
my kids went to a nursery who had a minibus and took kids to school and picked them up afterwards too?
Worth asking?
