I have already done a bit of knitting and my husband said ;are you going to knit all day?' I said 'no, I am going to do some crochet too!'

I know, I thought what an odd question!! Nothing on TV, none of my presents are the sort that can be used so if I am not knitting then I would be literally doing nothing or going in my room to read!!

If we could put pictures on this thread, I would put up a picture of the dinosaur I knitted to go in dh's stocking. If any of you get Knit Now magazine, it is the one from this month's insert - if knot, it is this one. His name is Cedric, and dh says he is his favourite present.

Belated Happy New Year to all the Wooly people.

I just need to tell everyone this. Lovely, lovely DH and Dd bought me a fabtabulous book for Christmas. A whole book of Christmas decorations to knit and crochet. They also bought me some wool in some of the required colours. So this week i have knitted: A Christmas tree egg cosy, a snowman, a wreath, and four padded hearts. Am a little way into a Reindeer. Roll on this year's charity auction, shall have some lovely christmassy things to donate!!!

I know. DH is back to work Monday, DD school on Tuesday, so am going to try and crack something other than granny squares on the crochet front.....watch this space

Oof... Right... I finally have "some" time, DS has fewer hospital trips (it's me, Trazzle) and I'm hoping to actually help out this year by contributing the odd square.

I've got yarn on the way and I've also ordered a book with some different granny squares in so fingers crossed...
