When we offered to make some Little Hugs for Yorkhill Hospital, we also talked to them about their Christmas Fundraiser.
As part of our support, we offered to help by making some little things that could be sold on a craft stall to help raise funds for the hospital.

So here we are, asking you if you could help in anyway.
If you could make one small thing, we would be so grateful.

We have an idea of the types of things that have been popular in the past and have a few idea of our own such as:

Little hats
Little cardis
Christmas Decorations
Little bags and purses
Christmas stockings
Bunting
Knitted or crocheted softies
Brooches
Cotton washcloths
Napkins
Coasters
Stocking fillers

Although it is a Christmas event, the goodies needn't necessarily be Christmassy.

Any other suggestions are welcomed with open arms

If you have any patterns or links that would help to inspire others we'd be grateful for those too.

We have a Last Posting date of 17th November so that we can ensure that all the goodies arrive in time for the Christmas event.

As always, thank you so much for your support.

Thanks

Morning all Brew Smile

Just a reminder for those hand delivering Christmas crafts to Yorkhill, they should go this week please. Our contact is Claire Hughes, she knows some lovelies will be popping in with goodies Smile

Yorkhill Children's Foundation office is located on the first floor of the Queen Mother Tower block, this is located behind the hospital. They advise if anyone is unsure to go to the main hospital reception for directions.

A reminder of the details for the Christmas Concert are below, but remember you don't need to go to the concert to go to the Christmas craft stalls. It all takes place on Friday 30th November.

And a pack of woolly treasure too from the lovely Purplefrog - see the Christmas Craft album of the Woolly Hugs Facebook page, this is just a taster, we had teeny knitted Christmas tree decorations, a crocheted bag and these comforter dolls knitted in cotton so the most gorgeously snuggly and beautifully weighted dolls. All just lovely!

Thank you Thanks
