When we offered to make some Little Hugs for Yorkhill Hospital, we also talked to them about their Christmas Fundraiser.
As part of our support, we offered to help by making some little things that could be sold on a craft stall to help raise funds for the hospital.

So here we are, asking you if you could help in anyway.
If you could make one small thing, we would be so grateful.

We have an idea of the types of things that have been popular in the past and have a few idea of our own such as:

Little hats
Little cardis
Christmas Decorations
Little bags and purses
Christmas stockings
Bunting
Knitted or crocheted softies
Brooches
Cotton washcloths
Napkins
Coasters
Stocking fillers

Although it is a Christmas event, the goodies needn't necessarily be Christmassy.

Any other suggestions are welcomed with open arms

If you have any patterns or links that would help to inspire others we'd be grateful for those too.

We have a Last Posting date of 17th November so that we can ensure that all the goodies arrive in time for the Christmas event.

As always, thank you so much for your support.

Thanks

these little felt birdies are cute Maybe a simplified version?

If you page down on that site, there's a link to stockings. Instead of the fancy sewn top, you could use gingham ribbon with a little ribbon loop. May little ones for the tree.

I'll be back....

Loving the birdies and the stockings! - I could do that!
I've seen cute ribbon in John Lewis. Wonder if they do felt too, never actually looked before.

Thanks Knots. I shall give both a go. Not promising anything to Yorkhill but will certainly give it a go Brew

I have done a couple of things for the fair not sure if they are ok - but where do I send?

PurpleFrog · 22/10/2012 12:23

I was also wondering if the address is the same as the one for the Little Hugs? If so, I could kill two birds with one stone, so to speak! [Mean Scot emoticon]
