The first thread is nearing the 1000 post limit due to such amazing support.

This thread is a continuation of that thread which can be found here

yeay! so glad it's arrived Grin

mine were mostly "not quite square" too, Hump Grin

prettybird · 16/03/2012 16:40

No fancy cards - just a hasty scrawl - but 5 squares went in the post today :) They can be used for either blanket, but I did use the snowflakes in WubblyBubbly's dream for inspiration to extract patterns from some of the Icelandic stuff I have been knitting recently.

I've been good and finished off all the loose ends this time Blush

I think I still have enough wool for one more square, so I'll do that and send it off in time for the deadline for MrsKwazi's blanket.

I've taken some photos on my Touch so I'll see if I can get them loaded on to my profile.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/03/2012 17:32

Right, so who else is running to the Post office in their pyjamas tomorrow morning to get their squares posted in time? Cakey? Anyone else?! Just me and Cakey?

TimeForCake · 16/03/2012 17:56

Grin How did you guess?! Was just popping in to say that wonders will never cease & my square is finished!! The wool yarn is a beautiful Octonauts blue and the old crochet isn't too bad, amazingly. And yes, I will be dashing to the post office tomorrow. Could well be in pjs but if not, definitely with hair to rival worzel gummidge.
Please could you pm me the address Pistey? Thanks

RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/03/2012 18:01

Cakey!

I've just got to sew in my pesky ends and I too am ready.
Pyjamas and mad hair it is then....
Pming you now Grin

TimeForCake · 16/03/2012 18:18

Ooooohhh blimey, nearly forgot my pesky ends! Will sort them later and parcel it up. Definitely a sense of achievement completing my square and though it is not as fancy and beautiful as others, it's made with love for Mr Wubbly and Lawrie. It could look a lot worse, believe me! Grin

Bet my hair is wilder than yours in the morning Pistey. The predicted rain will really help barnet matters. Grin

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 16/03/2012 19:13

welcome re cards, thought it was the least I could do considering my plain old square.

PurplePidjin · 16/03/2012 20:08

Oh shit, me too with the pyjamas thing then Blush

KnottyLocks · 16/03/2012 20:40

Ahhhh right. Good news, thanks Knotty. In that case, I will be able to stroll and not sprint and wear something more suitable than my jim jams. Alas, the hair is still likely to do it's own thing.

TimeForCake · 16/03/2012 20:47

*its

RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/03/2012 23:17

So I haven't got to run in my jim jams tomorrow?

MinnieBar · 16/03/2012 23:25

Oh now you say Monday. I've just been burning the midnight oil (well, very nearly midnight) to get my last one done!!

KnottyLocks · 17/03/2012 07:11

I have always said the last POSTING date is Monday.

Honestly.

Dull C&P from the other blanket thread because I have no imagination

Just checking in to see how it's going.... the thread had dropped off my thread list because I got my squares in so early :o

KnottyLocks · 17/03/2012 08:28

Yes you did, Soupy.
