Leaving children and teens in a state of fragile mental health though is terrible news. I didn't see in the article if there is any balanced and neutral support being provided in the meantime.
The news will just cause outrage and more scaremongering, unfortunately. In this way, it is not a win.
If a new service is created following Dr Cass' findings later this year, then that will be good news. As long as it is not falsely said to be based on her work, and that it continues to be just like the old one.
