They need to be. I'm sick of the NHS being so useless and paying men like Doyle a fortune in salary and pension when all they seem to do is make the service worse.
I'm feeling properly angry about all the harm the managers and DEI leads cause. I doubt it would make much difference to the care - it might in fact make it better as generally speaking the nurses and doctors know what they're doing- if all the people like him were sacked. See also Sandie Peggie and all the useless managers and the DEI lead there. They literally stopped a decent, very experienced nurse doing her job and helping patients all because she wouldn't agree to get undressed in front of a bloke. None of them do ANYTHING for patients at all.
In Peggie's case IIRC an HR person even pointed out that it was insane they were suffering with staffing levels (which, if insufficient, will ultimately end up with patients dying) and had Peggie on forced leave. I always wonder what happened to that HR person because- based on the evidence from that tribunal - I find it difficult to believe there wasn't a punishment for stating hard truths.
I'm sure most of us have experienced the inadequacies of frontline care in the NHS whilst also noting the money pissed away on DEI or glossy brochures about their pet causes and seeing through these tribunals how useless and unaccountable many on large salaries are.
I do think, given their ability to network their way into other jobs no matter the findings of failures of care, that criminal charges are the only way to change things.
