Now I hope that this person is found safe and well - but this is not a woman! Why is Samantha being described as a woman? This helps no one, neither the person who is missing nor those searching for him.

ONLY posters (or individuals not posting) who have declared themselves as cis-gendered may be referred to as cis gender. Otherwise you're misgendering, which is definitely against the rules of Gender Club (see above).

And yet we see individuals assigning cis gender willy nilly all over these boards, and cocking it right up. It's complete bollocks, it's not even hard. If you assume, assign or allocate cis gender, you're a dick, you're ballsing it up, you probably deserve the sack.

On a serious note - yes, we see "cis" imposed all over the place. We see assumptions made about posters' sex. We observe generalisations being made about "gender criticals" yet are told not to generalise or make sweeping assumptions about trans people. One might say that the standards are somewhat double.

On this thread we saw ‘trans’ imposed by TRAs. I was hoping they’d let us know how they knew. We expect of the Terrible Terfs (one of Terry Deary’s best), who can see people’s sex, but the TRAs surely just saw a woman. Baffling.

At least tras are consistent, if only in this one regard. It's always about the spaces 😁

Why was the assumption made that Samantha was a TW and not a woman (of the biological kind)? As far as I can make out all the information was that a woman was missing.

Alucard is one of the main characters of the Castlevania franchise of video games and animation - son of Dracula and a mortal woman. My older son has been a big fan for years, so I absorb this stuff through osmosis.
