There's been a spate of threads recently about things JK Rowling has shamefully failed to comment on. Wouldn't it be easier to put them all in a single thread?

I'll start.

JK Rowling has shamefully failed to comment on the Manchester City fraud scandal.

Has she ever actually comment on haggis?

I’ve not heard it.

Actually she might have commented about it but if I haven’t heard her comment because we are not actual people who know each other in real life, then does it even count.

I’m so self absorbed that I think she should be saying things in my orbit so that they count as things she has said.

I had to pay £2 for diesel today - why hasn't JKR tweeted about this travesty?!

She hasn't mentioned wance that ye cannae get pakora oot takeaways doon these parts. Selfish wummin. Jist cos she lives in Scotland, where pakora is plentiful.

I had a substitution in my online shop that I didn't want.

This travesty is happening daily, up and down the land., causing untold stress and misery.

But not a word of comment or commiseration.

I also was managing tolerance and kindness until I heard about the gerbil inspired pottery.

Nothing on X. Not an interview. Who knows what the woman's opinion might be on this crucial matter!

I hold her personally responsible for the roadworks that have been going on near our house for far too long.

I can see you’re all having a lovely time, and of course JKR can’t be expected to either pay for or comment on every issue….

BUT she has specifically positioned herself as a campaigner for women’s safety and dignity. Does it HONESTLY not give you a moment’s pause as to her actual motivation when something truly horrendous happens and there’s an opportunity to speak out whilst people are listening and their attention is on women’s safety and violent men…. and she says nothing 🤷‍♀️ versus how she reacts if a trans person criticises her?

I think she truly did care about women once upon a time, but that’s taken second place now to being ‘right’, and an absolute fixation on trans people.
