You'll.no be wantin a Terry's Chocolate Orange then?
[Secret Santa at my work once, the only known Celtic supporter in the staffroom was gifted a Rangers mug containing a Chocolate Orange.]
As an aside, when I was at high school, many of the boys supported Rangers. Most of the senior girls supported Celtic because they fancied Kenny Dalgliesh.
One time, we were on a trip of some kind and on the Fife line (not the Circle at that time) to Edinburgh.
As we passed through the Inverkeithing interchange, the best sportsperson (better than all the other girls and the boys) in the school - a girl who gloried in the nickname of "Haggis" spotted a bunch of Hearts supporters on the Inverkeithing platform.
She immediately opened the carriage window, leaned out, waved her green and white scarf and roared "Ceeeeeeeeltic!"
On the one hand, seeing a load of Hearts supporters running after the train was quite funny but on the other hand there were cries of "Haggis! Ya eejit!" as one of the supporters nearly made it to the door.
When I did supply at a certain Fife High School, I was asked whether I supported Rangers or Celtic, thinking myself clever, I replied "Cowdenbeath." (It usually works, once the kids have stopped laughing.)
Unfortunately, the few East Fife supporters in the class immediately burst into
"They're dirty and they're smelly!
They come from near Lochgelly!
The Cowden fami-leeeee!"
Thinking that that was the end of it, I grinned and said "All right! I asked for that one!"
Tried to get back to the lesson, then "Aye...but if ye HAD tae...wid it be Rangers or Celtic?"
