I just can't imagine being the kind of person who has the money and high public profile JKR has, and using it to spread hate, division and misinformation the way she does.
It's bad enough that she funds people who are actively persecuting transgender people and doing so much damage to transgender, Non-binary, and intersex people, but now she's actively encouraging people to sue an NHS trust by funding them, all because that trust is trying to be supportive to their workers and to keep their bathrooms accessible to all.
Those people who are idolizing her for this, don't seem to understand the possible far reaching and very damaging to all, consequences of her promised actions.
She doesn't have to worry about it, because she's so financially secure that she doesn't have to rely on the NHS. However, the majority of the UK public do, and the NHS is struggling as it is. Who would ultimately pay for any court cases or compensation that it could result in? The public. The public would pay in taxes, and far worse than that, pay in the decline of a public system that's already struggling, and one that's already fighting against privatization. We only have to look at the American system to see how badly that would impact on the average person.
Nobody should have the kind of money and power she has, with the ability to abuse it the way she's doing, and those who support her are too blind to see the damage she's doing not just to the transgender and intersex communities, but to all women and to men as well.
