Where do people get the idea that JK Rowling is transphobic from? Where? I’m having this argument with an acquaintance who tells me she’s the most transphobic person on earth but cannot point to one single thing that she’s done or said that’s transphobic. Is this the widest held totally bullshit view ever?

You can’t explain why you yourself thinks what she’s written is transphobic. You can’t explain why you agree with the author of that article that what she has written is transphobic because you have no original thoughts of your own.

You are entirely reliant on “this person has decided what she has written is transphobic and has written as such in this article, ergo I don’t have to explain myself any further.”

It’s exactly because the inferences that person has made are entirely nonsense that you can’t explain any further.
