If and when Queer Milk is attacked, Pizzagate-style, by a terrorist convinced they're saving kids, people on this forum will bear some responsibility for that.

No. We are not responsible for any attacks.

This is another failed emotionally manipulative attempts. But it is one of the most irresponsible that you have attempted.

Wishesandhorses · 10/08/2026 17:26

So if I paraphrase that - 'Stop noticing and discussing that men shouldn't abuse tiny babies for their own personal ends (some of which are openly sexual), in case another man sees it, and gets angry and he hurts someone/something.'

It's not rational to put it mildly.

It is along the same lines of ‘you deserved my violent attack because you wouldn’t behave as I instructed you to do!’

I question the emotional maturity of any person who pulls those kind of coercive tactics. But the reality is, the posting quality I have seen from some posters lately has left me wondering if they even have a grasp on the expected behaviour of an adult who can respond with coherent thought .

I think some people who respond with ‘but there is no evidence that a male person is using this provision’ as some kind of defence to a policy that allows any male person who wants access to have access have nothing left but absurdity to support their point of view.

You might want to learn some basic reading comprehension.

It's a support group for everyone LGBTQIA+, to have a chat and get support.

Yet you've all gone full Pizzagate on it.

Some of you desperately want this to be true and are utterly ignoring the facts.

Would you like to post the section of their policy that says that they do not welcome male people who induce lactation to feed that secretion to an infant via their nipple?

Surely after all this time and publicity, have they released their policy document that shows that they don't welcome these male people?

No? You are telling us that we are wrong based on what?

Yep this idiot just makes herself look completely unhinged and the worst kind of conspiracy nut.
I do wonder if her paranoia and persecution complex have been reported to her drs because it should be as it indicates that she needs her medication changed/adjusted and maybe a stay in hospital

This sounds very much like the abuser's classic phrase "look what you made me do" doesn't it? Women are NOT responsible for any violence that men do, at any time, any where. I'm surprised that a woman would use such emotionally manipulative and abusive language like this. To defend something as indefensible as this. I'll say again what I said earlier in this thread, this has utterly horrified me and I really thought my opinion of the Scottish government had already hit rock bottom, but they've managed to go even lower. This is about the abuse of babies. Babies...

I love that they say that its not for men ie transwomen yet their own website and promotional material says it is.
Do they honestly think that we're that dumb?

So if there aren't any men involved, who is "chest feeding" and what is the difference between chestfeeding and breastfeeding?

Apollo441 · 11/08/2026 02:17

Their promotional material shows a bearded man holding a baby to his bare chest. They are bald face liars who think we are idiots. They are 100% enabling this.

Helleofabore · 11/08/2026 03:59

I read that article cismyarse and thought what a whole lot of words without much clarity.

“The Queer Milk peer support group is not open to ‘trans women’ [biological men] who believe they can breastfeed a baby,” he said.

“It is not intended to encourage or promote such activity. It exists to provide a supportive space for people to share experiences, reduce isolation and access peer support around infant feeding and early partnerhood.”

’not intended’ and ‘not open to’ is not the same as ‘we exclude’. Just like further there is a whole heap of words about them not being a clinic. Yet still no words to say ‘we exclude male people who wish to feed an infant untested secretions from their nipple’.

Nor have they stated, female people breastfeeding are assured of a female single sex environment. Because all those words that the charity have said, still also leaves the impression that they will assist male people who are feeding donor breastmilk. Fine. But do the female people breastfeeding have a single sex space and staff for them away from the presence of any donor feeding male people?

When people and organisations talk around a topic without being clear and accurate, what they believe is assurances just sounds like more obfuscation. Their fear of risking offending this group of male people is clear and is clearly more important than making sure they protect and centre infants.

Has anyone seen a published safeguarding policy from this group?

For a charity to not have a published safeguarding policy stately clearly whether male people are supported or not would seem to be remiss.

TheywontletmehavethenameIwant · 12/08/2026 08:17

"This confirms just how distorted claims about conversion therapy are. A much-cited Stonewall survey, for example, ludicrously claimed that one in ten LGBTQ+ people had been “exorcised”. As the mathematician John Armstrong pointed out, that would mean religious leaders performing one exorcism for every two weddings."

I don't suppose we can expect our elected leaders to pay any attention to the facts and figures and bin this ludicrous demand forthwith. 😤

Heggettypeg · 11/08/2026 01:38

To be fair, I imagine the bearded figure draped in the trans flag is intended to portray a female who identifies as a transman. So yes, concerns about taking testosterone which might pass into breast milk, or otherwise mess up the production of breast milk. But I don't think that particular picture is supposed to show a male on medication to induce secretions from his chest.

I've always heard "chest feeding" used as a term for breast feeding by (female) women who identity as transmasculine or non-binary and who do not want to think of their breasts as breasts, because the word reminds them they're female.

A transwoman who wanted a baby to suckle from his chest would be likely to call it breastfeeding rather than chest feeding.

So it is possible that the group is not open to biological males.

I agree with the first part of your post.

But not the second part. There is not a published safeguarding policy that I could find that explicitly excluded male
people who wanted to come. Either to feed from their nipple or human donor milk from a bottle while female people are breastfeeding.

If they were excluded, where does it say this?

Datun · 13/08/2026 11:40

I agree that the person with the beard is likely to be a transman.

Maybe they do allow men, maybe they don't. But one thing's for sure, now they're under the spotlight they're going to find it very difficult to include them going forward.

And so is anyone else.

Maggie Mellon, a social worker who worked for the charities Children First and Action for Children, wrote to Edinburgh council making a formal complaint.

She said: “Manifestly, men cannot breastfeed and there is no nutritional benefit to the children concerned. There is no benefit to the children and some clear evidence of serious risk.”

I really don't think, 'but, but, bonding', is going to cut the mustard any more.

Any kind of scrutiny on this abhorrent practice is welcome.

If the times was wrong, then it's really the fault of transactivism for sticking a person with a beard on a breastfeeding website and calling it chest feeding!

God Almighty. TRAs push and push for linguistic jibber jabber, and then complain when it's not understood.

Segregation? Separating by sex is not segregation. Blimey! You lot are scraping the barrel right through to the very bottom.

It's the last desperate wail. If women and girls object to undressing in front of random men, then we must be demanding sex segregation in all aspects of life 🙄

It's toddler level thinking yet they've no shame about spouting such nonsense!

It's a fair assumption, given the group's clearly for all LGBTQIA+ parents. It's literally just a parent support group for queer people.

But sure, Carry On Pizzagate.

Helleofabore · 13/08/2026 20:28

Have we got that safeguarding policy that is explicit in who can and cannot attend? Or where there is particular times when it is female only and any male adults are excluded at that time?

No?

So, anyone declaring that it is not for male people at all is just making assumptions.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 13/08/2026 20:42

Cismyfatarse · 13/08/2026 19:43

That's great.
If the trans extremists wedged into so many institutions are going to ignore the law then it's good that the courts will speak out and instruct them to obey the law.

CassOle · 13/08/2026 20:50

It’s almost — if I can use Orwellian terms for it — Animal Farm-like. Women good. But men identifying as women better. Or all women are equal, but men identifying as women are more equal than others.

Yep, we've all seen examples of this.
