The first one: he’s pointing out the irony of an Irish exam featuring a question about the patriarchy, given that Ireland is dismantling women’s rights, including introducing self-ID and placing ‘Barbie Kardashian’ in a women’s prison. Is it far right to question a violent sex offender being placed in a prison with a mother and baby unit?

The second one: you’re surprised that a man who was cancelled, and experienced people trying to segregate him from the successful work he produced, comes out against that happening to another man? You don’t understand what he’s driving at, so you assume misogyny?

The third one: London 2012… Isambard Kingdom Brunel built Britain! Royal Mint 2026… diversity built Britain! Lots of people might raise an eye at that coin, yet you assume glinner must be racist.

As I said, the op had to explain what the 19th amendment was - because no one outside of the US is going to have a clue. He quite clearly skipped over that bit - it wasn’t the substantive point of the tweet, and I think it’s all a bit of a desperate purity spiral to demand women here condemn him. I was agreeing with the poster saying that it’s a reach that he wants to remove women’s suffrage. Not debating anything else he’s said, he has said some very silly things before. Not engaging further because I literally CBA. It’s not interesting, it’s predictable.

Celebrating diversity is great… we should absolutely do that! Diversity is a marked element of what 21st century Britain is, compared with a century ago, and the country is richer for it.

Nobody is claiming Khelif is trans, least of all the person you’re quoting. Khelif has a DSD that affects only males, and thus does not belong in any women’s sport.

The coin doesn't even mention race - but even if it did... Brunel's structures were built by slaves brought in through Bristol. So yes, black people literally did build much of Britain.

Also... Do you think one coin should encompass a history over a thousand years? Or do you think that maybe, maybe, it'd be nice to acknowledge that, over the last century, the country has become more diverse? Again, I'm really interested to know what we're celebrating by not acknowledging this...
