It was on the BBC broadcast news, too. I was only half-listening, but heard it on Thursday evening, probably BBC R4.
I don’t live anywhere near Brighton so it must have been national news, possibly PM or the Six o’clock News.

I was looking for it on the bbc website because there was a reference to the story on X but couldn’t/ didn’t find it. It seems to me to be an important story.
