Yeah, there's definitely a rush of empathy for anyone who's lost their mother at a young age, and then sent to boarding school.
And to have that emptiness and sadness continuing throughout life is doubly so.
And there's no doubt that Eddie Izzard was a very clever comedian and a likable character. Albeit coming across as quite complex.
Which makes it even more frustrating and depressing that he swans around with the entitlement of any other middle-aged man, and a bit more. Especially now everybody knows about AGP.
