Appreciation for J K Rowling in sex and gender discussions

Whenever I see her posts the world suddenly makes some sense to me, J K Rowling is a beacon of sanity and reality, always on the side of women and girls. Her words always help me to remember that I'm one of the normal sane women in the world who understand the tide of misogyny that tries to drown us with the "trans" nonsense. Hallelujah and thanks to the goddess for J K's existence.

Misgendering isn't illegal and you're going to see a lot more of it in future. What you call misgendering, sex realists like JKR and many others, including me, call correctly sexing, since however you choose to present, you can't change your sex, just as you can't change your race.

As for the nonsense about the male serial killer... 🙄 Have you personally never read any crime fiction? Lots of examples from the C19th onwards of authors writing about characters disguising themselves as the opposite sex to evade detection or live out a fetish. You need to widen your horizons, pet.

Calling a man a man is never wrong. Calling a male boxer a woman is putting women's lives on the line, all civilised people are repulsed by men punching women.

She has been an utter stalwart on this topic and the amount of internet posts I’ve seen get ratioed where people thought that their negative views on her were a majority view have been so heartening. The last 10 years on this issue have been a revelation to me on how whole swathes of people get pulled into very dodgy damaging ideologies but also very heartening on how the tide eventually turns.

I think it will be the IOC who calls males males from now on. Anyone who feels they were maligned at the last Olympics by being called male when they are female will have their opportunity at the next Olympics to prove that they were actually born female and then we will all be in the wrong.

I suspect we won’t hear sight nor light out of them now though.

I just got booted out of a humour group on FB for saying that i supported JKs stance on women's rights. I actually feel really miffed about it, because I wasn't rude or abusive to anyone else...and they kicked me out. Muppets.
