Steph Richards is an entitled horrible man. He hasn't got a cat in hell's chance in succeeding because he isn't a woman and Labour are following the law by excluding him. Calling himself an award winning feminist is particularly galling.

It’s deliberate trolling of women.

Agreed. His constant attempts to take women's positions, including invading an endometriosis charity, speak to both deliberately antagonistic behaviour and also sexual fetish.

totally. And it's blatant. You'd have to be blind not to see it.

A very telling quote:

‘I’m also sorry for all the delegates that are going to the women’s conference this year, because they’re being robbed of my expertise in areas around pregnancy, baby loss, violence against women and girls.’

What a patronising, narcissistic prick of a man. As if a group of adult, capable women need a elderly father of three to tell them about such issues.

Another interesting quote:

‘I’m appalled, if I’m really honest. I deserve to be a delegate there. I’ve done everything to make me happy as a woman and I get treated like this. I’ve got a gender recognition certificate and I’m post-operative'

Yeah no one cares about your nonsense piece of paper or mutilated genitals. You're a man who didn't even 'transition' until the age of 58. You aren't welcome and never will be. You certainly don't 'deserve' a place at a conference for women.

robbed of my expertise

That's just got to be trolling.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 03/08/2026 01:22

Of course he is.

SodThisHeadache · 03/08/2026 06:19

I encountered him on Suzanne Moore's substack. He masquerades as this courtly person (would try and suck up to Suzanne) but he is both manipulative and not very bright. A nasty man.

He's a hairdresser, no?

He wanted to mansplain womanhood to women and is having a narc tantrum that he's not allowed.

TWETMIRF · 03/08/2026 14:07

As a man he probably does have expertise in being violent towards women...

If we said that as a parody we'd have transactivists wailing about our transphobia. Him claiming he can share his expertise in pregnancy 😂

Operation #letthemspeak indeed.

Katie Neeves and Jane Fae are of a similar personality - try to come over all reasonable (and meek/gentle) and willing to 'converse' with prominent GC women (in an attempt to bring them round and neutralise their activism) but completely snaps into male-pattern nastiness the moment they're rejected or called out on past behaviour/statements.

It's apparently a thing called 'shit they kept the receipts dysphoria'

True

Should have read the small print on the GRA - “this entitles you to be treated as a woman in situations where it is illegal to discriminate between men and women. Where sex is relevant, you will be treated as a man”

Sorry to take a side track but did I see that major Unions will not be supporting The Women's Conference because Transwomen are excluded?
So the Conference might not be a major event or it might get publicity for the wrong reasons.
Any union members able to help on this?
