Latest on their campaign to include males. Trying to get round the law and their own charitable aims. Girls just aren’t important enough on their own!

“How we’re exploring future opportunities for trans girls and trans women to connect with and be supported by Girlguiding ⬇️

In December last year, our equality and diversity policy changed following the Supreme Court’s decision on sex and gender. Since then, we’ve been making steady progress with the taskforce to explore how trans girls and trans women can connect with and be supported by Girlguiding in the future. Over 3,000 of you responded to our taskforce.

The taskforce is a community of around 500 people with a common interest, who come together to share information, generate ideas and explore different ways of offering support. A big part of the taskforce is our panel of 16 people, including people with lived experience, senior volunteers, members, young people, country and region staff and volunteers, parents and carers and subject matter experts.

The taskforce as a whole is considering over 100 ideas which have been grouped into themes, and the theme being discussed right now is ‘showing support for trans girls, trans women and the trans+ community’. Ideas in this theme include holding events, creating activities and campaigns.

Childhood shapes everything that follows. The very organisations created to nurture young girls, to give them confidence and curiosity, are now being steered by adults who seem determined to use them as props in a political soap opera.

The people entrusted with safeguarding girls development are the ones undermining it, instead of protecting their childhood, their imposing their own narrow agendas on them, it's sickening.

Surely there must be other things that would be more important for them to focus on

Will Brownie's/ Guides have to have their promise changed to swear allegiance to the rainbow flag/ their trans sisters? And will there be non member events where trans identified boys will be included?

It's such a shame that girls are being told that they still must centre these boys.

I think it's reassuring that they must be sure they couldn't be doing anything more for young girls. I mean, that must be the case if they're spending time, money and energy working for young boys too, mustn't it?

So unnecessary by GGs. After all the (Boy) Scouts now take girls so there is no reason why trans girls can't go there and still pretend to be girls.

Should we really have groups run for girls who..... really don't like girls and can only think about boys?

It’s bad enough with adult males inveigling themselves into the WI, 100 times worse pulling the same stunt with an organisation set up for female children.

I don't know much about girl guides - how many members are there overall? I'd be interested to see the numbers they quote - 3000 responded to the survey, task force of 500 and panel of 16 - in context of the membership numbers as a whole and whether these numbers are reflective of the proportion of people in the general population who have "trans children" or are active supporters of gender ideology.

Far more people don't agree with or support gender ideology in general, but although the people who are true believers and activists for gender ideology are small they're also loud and influential unfortunately. Do PPs think this is reflected in girl guiding, or is there a disproportionately larger number of gender ideologues involved in the organisation?

These activists are of course helped by the Be Kind brigade who are often just not very aware and think they're supporting a righteous cause and vulnerable children. So that might bump up their numbers.

I used the C word (with an L rather than an N) in regards to the whole ideology.

Including people with lived experience? Hmm. Surely everyone alive has lived experience? What a pile.

It's so sad that today's girls cannot be prioritised, they must still have to think about the needs of a tiny minority of males above their own needs. 😞

Spending the money that they've taken from the girls' subs to find ways they can bypass both the SC judgement, and their stated charity aims.

I responded to their survey, to tell them what a stupid fucking idea it was, so 3000 responses doesn’t mean they all agreed.
Plus I had managed to get on their mailing list by emailing them a few times to tell them what knobheads they are.
