What's the deal guys?

I don't think this post is going to last long but what's the deal with hating trans women so much? I've been a women for 13 years of my life since 18 and it's never been a problem. Suddenly I'm not only talk of the town but also an evil man stealing everyone's rights away from them? I wasn't much of a boy as a kid anyway but. I just wanted to ask like what's the deal? Why do you hate the idea of me existing so much? What have I personally done to you that's been so bad? I feel like I need to be careful with my words because it'll be easy to accuse me of all sorts but I've done no harm to anyone. If you want to ask a trans woman some honest questions then please do, I don't usually talk about it in my day to day life and that, I'm pretty down to earth and will help you understand as much as possible. But I'd like to ask the people that hate me so much, can we ever get along? Please don't assume I'm what the internet and the media says I am though, I'm not like that at all! I just want us all to get on and I'm sick of having my life debated every 5 minutes.

I'm absolutely loving I've had my leather jacket, t shirt, rara skirt since the ark.

My navy blue school draws became my period pants, became my suck in your post baby tummy knicks.

Some even had St Michael written on them!

actually don't know. Probably but I don't know. Sorry, I don't want to give a cryptic answer but I'm genuinely scared to get a karyotype test right now

If you are a trans woman, you are a biological man because otherwise you'd have been born a girl. You don't need a test to tell you this, it's simple biology.
I'm not trying to be unfriendly or judgemental it's just that they are the facts. What is frustrating to people like me is when other people say there are lots of genders and that means they can live their lives outside of regulations that society needs to function, ie: males using females spaces because they say they're women.
I'm fine with anyone living how they want to live, but reality has to play a part. So I'm.fine with trans men using females spaces etc because they're female.

The thing is guys, so am I. But I can't talk about it. If I open up and tell you what I've experienced I'll be ridiculed, denied and it's exhausting. I get what women experience, which again, I'll be told I don't. And that's my point, I'm not allowed to fight for women as much as I'm not allowed to fight for myself. I don't know how to explain it. It doesn't matter what I say, I won't be listened to. I do understand why safety is a serious requirement and I want it for everyone. Not just myself. For my girlfriend, for my mum, for my sister, for my friends, for young girls and young boys. I'm just not taken seriously when I say it

Mate, you said you didn't know about MN and wanted to give it a try?
Started with a ridiculous "don't know if this will stand" (hint: we don't try to stop people talking, we really really want more talking) and now you say you'll be ridiculed.

Why do you think that? Who told you that?

Brefugee · 18/02/2026 18:39

Sex realists don't believe in social or cultural gender. They're essentially the same people who in the 80s who believed gays and lesbians just hadn't met the perfect opposite sex partner, or were possessed by evil spirits, and same sex attraction was an abomination.

this is complete and utter nonsense and you know it.
The type of people who used the "you haven't met the right dick yet" line on lesbians are now claiming a trans identity and telling the lesbians they are transphobes who haven't met the right lady dick yet"

plus ca change and all that.

Brefugee · 18/02/2026 18:45

onepostwonder · 18/02/2026 00:11

Well, I could have said opinions but we all know how genuinely held beliefs are just as good as genuine lived existence.

i ... nope. I can't even

We're used to TRAs telling us were doing womanning wrong, but now apparently we're doing lesbianning wrong as wellGrin

Brefugee · 18/02/2026 18:57

We are always wrong, might as well accept it and get on with our lives.

(FWIW: i have a pair of Docs - that i regularly wear to football matches - that i bought in 2002. I have a pair of Levi 501s that sadly no longer fit, but i painted flowers all over them for a festival in 1991, so i still have them. And one of my dad's jumpers that i liberated from him in the late 70s, but i never wear it now because since he died it makes me sad)

Hedgehogforshort · 18/02/2026 19:02

I am winning vintage thus far i had still got my own biker leather jacket from 198o.

Sadly i cut the fringes of it 😪

@MarieDeGournay picture of me on another thread was striking, a hedgehog in a leather jacket 😂

Strangerthanfiction123 · 18/02/2026 19:07

Nobody is debating your life, why would you think you are that important. Stay out of women’s spaces, we dont care what you wear or say, you are not nor ever will be a woman. You will always be a MAN. True.

My 1988 monsters of rock t-shirt gets an annual airing at another annual 1 day rock festival 😁

I went to i think the first one or maybe second at Donnington when it was a one day job. Maybe 1980,

i remember i had a sleeping bag, no tent but a bin bag for damp protection.

AC/DC were amazing and very fun/silly.

Catiette · 18/02/2026 19:28

I'm a bit concerned by Hedgehog in a leather jacket. Seems a bit risky for jacket and Hedgehog - but especially jacket.

I've been having unexpected tye/tie-dye(sp.?!?) cravings recently.

Put it this way a lot of Vaseline was involved, a whole new take on the term “greeser” which i never was.

for the who don't know it was a reference to bikers covered in grease from tinkering with their motorbikes.

Tie and dye is available on tinternet

You might want to take a look at Ray Blanchard's typology.

You fit it almost exactly.

His suggestion that some transwomen are HSTS (homosexual transsexual), who have internalised homophobia to the point where they would rather identify as a woman to make them heterosexual, than be upfront homosexual.

See men like Juno Dawson claiming that being gay is a consolation prize because those men can't be women, and always maintaining that his partners are heterosexual men.

(The very concept makes most people's head explode. If you're a man attracted to a man, you're not heterosexual).

It sounds like sex realist astrology to me.

Happy year of the fire horse to you.

I don't expect onepost will stay around much longer either..

Hmmm, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that! I get the impression the massive oversharing on here is cathartic and not about to stop any time soon.

i have no dog in the fight, as they say.

I wasn't planning on staying after my first couple of posts. But more recently, I've been trying to work out if there's a kind of sadism behind sex realism's need to call trans women men. I'm thinking a dopamine reward is involved.

Mapletree1985 · 18/02/2026 21:23

MarieDeGournay · 17/02/2026 21:53

I'm sorry you feel so confused and scared. This probably isn't the best place to work things out.
The truth is usually the best way forward, so finding out the real facts is a good basis. Illusions and delusions just fall apart eventually.
I hope you get things sorted out and I wish you well.

He's just taking the piss. In another post he said he knows people can't change sex, so these claims of his to have turned into "some kind of intersex" are just him messing around.

He's hoping we'll beg him: "Oh, please, we'll be nice, we'll be kind, please talk to us, you're so fascinating and misunderstood and we are so desperate to prove to you that we're good people."

My goodness that is the most bizarre thing i have read in a long time, the need to call “trans women” men is to point out that very fact, and assert our rights to privacy dignity and safety as biological women. And that we should not have to share women only spaces with biological males.

you just demonstrate your maleness in all that you assert.

No, no sadism. Just a liking for the truth.

I reckon, there is nothing quite as fascinating to male people
as female people having to explain material reality over and over to those same male people being those who demand that they be treated as special male people.

It seems to be a feature to enjoy demonising women and girls who don’t comply. You see it on social media all the time.

Oh but you do….

It’s really not difficult to understand why women don’t want to include transgender men in our spaces.

If you don’t understand it’s because you’re a man.
You’ve no ability to understand women because you’re a man.
It’s not any kind of sadism to call a man a man.
It’s not unkind to be truthful, it’s just a fact of life that no matter how hard you wish it wasn’t so, you were born male, you’re still male and you will die a male.

You, need to accept the inevitable because you can’t change it.

Que sera, sera…

I read somewhere that fetishes and obsessions have a scope to expand as society changes and develops. So it is possible that popping up on MN to posit arguments you know will not be accepted is quite possibly an un recorded fetish.

I note fetish type words pop up too i dunno like sadism.

and then for a nano second i question am i obsessed? Nah they ain’t getting my grandchildren so i will persist.

Greyskybluesky · 18/02/2026 21:51

It's a strange kind of closed mindedness too.
An inability to consider our points from our female perspective.
An unwillingness to engage, to face the difficult questions head on.
You see it a lot in people who like to present themselves as easygoing and chilled out.
Accepting of everybody...except actual women.
