Rupert Lowe & Restore Britain new party

He's been very good about pursuing rape gangs. But I wonder if it's motivated purely by concern for women and girls. I saw on the party website FAQs that 'high level" donors will receive a tie (presumably branded). No apparent thought given to the possibility of a high level female donor.

Where on earth did you get the ridiculous idea anyone would be deported for being “black or brown”?

That's the position of Steve Laws, who has become a bit notorious on social media.

If you want a demonstration of the proposition that popularity on X is not the same as popularity in the real world, Steve stood as a council candidate in Folkestone last year and got 50 votes. That's how popular his politics is in a place where small boats are a visible problem.

I don't think Rupert Lowe wants to deport all non-white people. I think he's been silly enough to allow open racists to get close to him, and they're defining him on social media. And that raises questions about his judgment.

Reading their policies further I'm interested in their 'No More Hosepipe Bans' policy.

They say "Prioritise the construction of new reservoirs.....Cut red tape and accelerate planning approvals for reservoirs, pipelines, and water transfer schemes to ensure swift delivery." Also, they plan to save water with a "a net negative immigration system"

Given the enormous skills shortage in the construction sector, I wonder how they will deliver their swift construction programme whilst reducing immigration. Surely there will be huge recruitment and training needs if skilled workers cannot be brought in".

Can any Restore supporters can explain this to me please? Thank you.

They'll have fun building reservoirs over the screams of the Nimbys and finding the money for all the investment once they've spent billions kicking out "furriners".

CaravanCurtains · 16/02/2026 14:43

@derxa Thanks so much for replying.

I was hoping that other people who support Reform would be able to answer my questions? Anybody??

Thanks means a lot. I don’t think Labour will be too thumbs up emoji after Wales but we’ll see.

They probably won't be, but likely they'll be sharing power with PC and possibly other left wing parties. No cigar looking likely for Tories and Reform, tg.

CaravanCurtains · 16/02/2026 14:45

"Immigration enforcement should be empowered to investigate suspicious businesses and foreign beggars"

This is from their Local Economy and Community Policy.

Can any Reform supporters explain how their 'Immigration enforcement' will differ from ICE in the USA? Thank you.

I'm not a Reform member and it's not my business to speak for them, but those who I do know have no enthusiasm for the heavy-handed tactics associated with ICE in the US. They're more focused on changing incentive structures.

I notice that, as always, none of the partisan Labour supporters have anything to say about their MPs appearing on SWP platforms. Come on, this shouldn't be difficult. If you're going to play the game of "I'd like random Reform supporters to dissociate themselves from specific Trump administration actions", surely you can say you're not comfortable with Labour MPs allying with the SWP.

I don’t think the former thought they’d be in power in Wales so it’s no big deal to them. Labour have been though and it will be hard for Starmer to sell big losses to his party.

And who knows who will be the largest taker of votes, that’ll be a factor for Labour and what they try to do about it.

Sorry, I meant Restore, not Reform @SionnachRuadh.

What do you mean by "They're more focused on changing incentive structures" please?

Tbh at the moment I am not concerned about how the Welsh elections will impact on Starmer. My main concern is keeping the racists away from power in Wales.

That’s fine focus on what you like. I will too. You can scroll by or not but I’m interested in what impacts the overall leadership.

Do you think the people being deported will be from India/Pakistan/Africa or from Canada/ Australia?

Why not take a look at what is happening in the USA where non-white people are being asked to produce their papers? Are people with white skin being stopped by ICE?

I don't know why anyone bothers coming on these forums and pretending that parties like Restore aren't racist.

in the USA, people who are not US citizens, or do not have a Visa / permission to stay - are being removed. Those are people who are not supposed to be in the country.

I see plenty of people who's grandparents were Indian Pakistani around me, they are British, they will be staying.

If you say someone is racist, you have to show proof they are racist. Please show the racism?

'Far right' is becoming as diluted as 'racist'. Overused to the point of boredom.

Because they are doing that now, in America. If it's not about colour why are native Americans being detained. If it is happening there, it's not ridiculous to think it could happen here.

but, we don't live in the USA?

And here's Restore's first Councillor who "fully supports" a policy banning people from ethnic minorities sitting in Parliament.

But it's not about racism, it's about secure borders....

bsky.app/profile/sundersays.bsky.social/post/3mexzfckgjc2b

It wasn't about ethnic minorities sitting in Parliament, it was about first generation immigrants sitting, many countries have the rule that you have to be born in a country to represent it, i.e. the USA.

SionnachRuadh · 16/02/2026 15:17

Over on X, Matt Goodwin posted pictures of himself with Sikhs who are canvassing for him in the by-election.

Matt is not an ethnonationalist. He's very happy to embrace these Brits of Indian ethnicity.

He's being massively trolled on this by white nationalists who are very upset that Reform has ethnic minorities in leading positions. The people trolling Goodwin are also bigging up Rupert Lowe.

I don't like Rupert Lowe much, but I don't believe he's a white nationalist. But it's up to him to issue instructions to the young man who he's hired to run his X account.

The possibility of Rupert doing this is low (see what I did there?) but probably higher than Labour supporters on FWR saying they don't believe Labour MPs should share platforms with Weyman Bennett.

Please point at the fascism and where it hurt you?

you already know very well

TheywontletmehavethenameIwant · 16/02/2026 15:20

The 4 Gaza Independents we currently have in the British HoC is a good reason for banning people who are not British for sitting in parliament.

CaravanCurtains · 16/02/2026 15:20

I've just been looking at Rupert Lowe's facebook page.

He has posted a video saying how lovely 1989 was. It's all photos of men with pints, red squirrels, fox hunting and cream teas overlaid with the flags and arrows from the beginning of Dad's Army.

He's raving mad.

Interesting, source and links please?

This is Steve Laws, standing in Folkestone and getting 1% of the vote for the Homeland Party: Election results for Folkestone East, 1 May 2025

Since then, Homeland has entertainingly imploded thanks to their supreme leader Kenny Smith employing a young lad to be their Northern Ireland organiser who turned out to have a Grindr profile highlighting his keen interest in big black cock (if the lad lives in Belfast, you can't fault his optimism, but this may not be a good look if you're in a party that stands for white nationalism and against sexual degeneracy)

Steve has achieved some prominence lately based on his social media activity, but I see no evidence at all that he's a serious political operator.

All the people who Rupert Lowe bigs up are white though.

Here's what a quick AI search brought up about him - .

Based on recent search results, there is no evidence of MP Rupert Lowe being "nice" about a black person or black-focused initiatives.

Rather, 2025 news reports indicate that Lowe, while serving as a Reform UK MP (later independent), has publicly attacked initiatives aimed at helping black professionals. Examples include:

  • 10,000 Black Interns Program: Lowe described this programme at the Bar Council as "vile" and "anti-white racism".
  • Bank of England Programme: He labelled the Bank of England's "Black Future Leaders Sponsorship Programme" as "anti-white racism".
  • Opposition to Inclusion Initiatives: Lowe has explicitly stated on social media that he does not "care about diversity" and believes such initiatives are "racist".
CaravanCurtains · 16/02/2026 15:26

Do Restore have any actual policies that will specifically benefit women in the workplace, health wise, financially?
